In the UK Shiraz Maher was a moderate non believing secular Muslim but tells his story on how he became a terrorist before seeing the light and regained his non devout secular Muslim status. Shiraz was brought up secular in Britain yet he got hooked in by the terrorists; but now imagine if you are a young Muslim brought up and living in the Middle East. Muslim society are subjected to anti Western, anti Jewish thinking in the media as well as the indoctrination in the home and in the mosque. You can understand now why the Muslim Brotherhood has come to power as well as the sympathy for Al Qaida is prevalent.

People like Shiraz Maher and all the others like Walid Shoebat, Nonie Darwish, Robert Spencer and several others who have left Islam or critique Islam are to be discredited as "frauds" "Islamaphobes," and "purveyors of hate speech." When you hear people called these names you can guarantee that they are telling the truth and the accusers are lying.

This documentary shown on the liberal BBC Panorama Program (similar to our 6o minutes) seems to be willing to expose more truth than any of our own media in the USA including Fox News which have all been either intimidated into Dhimmi submission by CAIR or bought off by Saudi Princes. The truth concerning Islam and the dangers and threats can only be found on web sites like ours and those of our colleagues who seek to educate about the true danger and evil we are up against.

While Muslims the world over may argue that Islam is a religion of peace, one simply can’t ignore that teachings of mid-east leaders, whether in mosques or schools, tend to shy away from the idea of co-existence and the right of an individual to live as they choose.

Barbaric textbooks handed out in Saudi Arabian schools teach children how to cut off a thief’s hands and feet under Sharia law, it has emerged.
The shocking books, paid for and printed by the Saudi government, also tell teenagers that Jews need to be exterminated and homosexuals should be ‘put to death’.
Recent editions were obtained by the Institute for Gulf Affairs in Washington, D.C., which says they should raise fears in the West over the use of jihadist language.
The books were published and handed out to 9th and 10th-graders despite Saudi Arabia’s promises to clean up textbooks in the kingdom.
Ali Al-Ahmed, director of the Institute for Gulf Affairs, told Fox News: ’This is where terrorism starts, in the education system.
‘They show students how to cut (the) hand and the feet of a thief,’ he said.
The textbooks were printed for the 2010-2011 academic year and translated from Arabic by the institute.
In one, for ninth-graders, students are taught the annihilation of the Jewish people is imperative.
One text reads in part: ‘The hour (of judgment) will not come until the Muslims fight the Jews and kill them. There is a Jew behind me come and kill him.’
According to the translations, women are described as weak and irresponsible.
Mr Al-Ahmed said the textbooks also call for homosexuals to be put to death ‘because they pose a danger at society, as the Saudi school books teaches’.
Mr Al-Ahmed said: ‘If you teach six million children in these important years of their lives, if you install that in their brain, no wonder we have so many Saudi suicide bombers.’

Christian leaders, past and present, have had their own barbaric delusions on a historical basis as well, so we’re not attempting to elevate one religion above another, but it’s clear that something just isn’t right about theocracies and monarchies that claim to come in peace, while at the same time educating children from a young age to hate, to the point of annihilation, anyone who is not of the same religion or those who have a different sexual orientation.

Our own government officials justify hundreds of billions of dollars in expenditures and the lives of thousands of Americans on wars that they claim will spread democracy, yet it is clear that our ideologies of individuality, freedom of expression and freedom of religion are completely lost on these societies. Secretary Clinton et. al. told the American public that we should support Egyptian and Libyan rioters as it would result in democracy and more freedom for the people of these countries. The reality is that no such system will be established in Egypt and Libya, or Iraq and Afghanistan for that matter. Rather, these countries will instill leaders (probably with the help of Western powers) that will further push the very agendas and ideas set forth in Saudi Arabian text books.

Armies have tried to conquer these regions and institute secular political systems in the past. They have failed repeatedly – for thousands of years. Our attempts to spread democracy there are akin to implementing and spreading Sharia law in the United States. It will be rejected, through violence if necessary.

The point is that we should stop pretending like we can make any significant progress in the middle east peace process. There will be no peace between Israel and Muslim nations. There will be no peace between, or mutual respect among, Muslim countries and the United States, because according to many teachers of Islam, the only good non-muslim is a dead non-muslim. There is simply no way to convince certain Islamic sects otherwise.

It is always fun to see the MSM catching up. We did the story in September so to have the Grauniadonly three months behind isn't bad going. The paper does, however, illustrate the huge sums involved in the bailiff scam, with our friend Fern Silverio, the divisional director of collections and housing benefits at Harrow council, telling a conference of bailiffs this year:

Councils will be under pressure to find more income streams, and on a big contract covering all debt the bailiff can still make an enormous profit. [Harrow] council will pass debts worth around £10m to our bailiff partners. From that, they should expect to collect between £3m and £4m, which should generate fees of more than £1m.

The paper also gets the point that this money is going to be extorted from the poorest, least able members of the community, a typical response of a parasitical system that knows no moral bounds.

We thus ger a quote from John Kruse, a leading expert on bailiff law in the UK, who also works for Citizens Advice in east London. Referring to "some of the more image-aware members of the [bailiff] sector", he says they are warning that that if bailiffs are asked to pay money to councils then that has to come from somewhere. The way it is going to be produced will be by bailiffs upping the fees that they are charging or being more aggressive about the way they chase people.

Kruse adds, "The amounts that they collect at the moment are fees that they are allowed to collect by statute. That's their profit, so if the council is saying, 'We want to cut that profit now,' then it's either a case of the bailiffs making less money, which is unlikely, or they collect more money one way or another".

Despite the extremely dubious legality of this scheme, and the outright illegality of most bailiff operations, we still see no broader interest from the MSM, which is hardly surprising. But they, no doubt, will be so surprised when we start seeing dead bodies. That certainly is the direction of travel.

Either the government or the police are going to have to intervene, to rope in these cowboys, or there really is going to be murder done. But if either or both want to abandon the rule of law, then they really cannot complain if people take their law into their own hands.

The deal is they enforce the law so that we don't. But if they don't, we have to. They can't have it both ways.

The "phantom visit" fraud

This is the other half of the Council Tax scam, which Booker now reports in his column (above - click to expand). I can now reveal that it was he who approached West Yorkshire Police (WYP) and got from them the formal statement that the so-called "phantom visits" were fraud, contrary to Section 2 of the Fraud Act 2006.

Despite this welcome development, however, the message has not got to the plod at street level. Their line – we now discover - is that, because no money changed hands, my particular case is a "civil matter". The logic of this is, to say the very least, bizarre. By their reckoning, an attempt to defraud is none of their business – I have to give the fraudsters some money before they will treat it as a crime.

This stance seems even more bizarre when one is aware that S.2 states that a person is in breach of this section "if he dishonestly makes a false representation, and intends, by making the representation to make a gain for himself or another, or to cause loss to another or to expose another to a risk of loss". There is nothing there at all about money changing hands.

Faced with this WYP stupidity, however, I had already written to the Chief Constable, when I received a call from his office telling me that the sergeant from the neighbourhood police team would be calling on me.

Needless to say, that visit did not transpire. Instead, I got a visit from two uniformed plodettes, who did not have the first idea of what they were calling for, but merely had been sent by their sergeant to find out what I wanted. They listened, without taking any notes, much less a statement or looking at any of the documentation, and departed. Since then, I have heard nothing, and wearily, another letter has gone off to the Chief Constable's office.

My impression now is that the press office is trying to row back, but with this week's Booker column, the cat is now out of the bag. And maybe now, the local paper – which has so far been sitting on the fence – may stir itself and do a story. It would be too much of a miracle, however, for the plod to act.

Not sure that “popular” is the right term for Piers Morgan, nevertheless he is the subject of three of Guido’s most read stories this year. Super-injunctions also occupy three stories (#4, #6, #12). Andrew Marr’s menage a trois is #3 despite being three years old and subsequently disproved by DNA.

The story which amused us most was probably comrade Laurie Penny’sexploitation of an intern. This was funny on many levels, the hypocrisy, her crazed response and the knowledge that whilst travelling in the back of a Mercedes limousine with her, courtesy of the BBC, it was Guido who had urged her on, telling her she “simply must get an intern”.

Christmas Day television viewing figures for the major channels is significantly down on last year. The top five "most watched" programmes attracted a cumulative audience of 43.7 million, compared with 51.2 million last year.

Furthermore, this decline is part of a long-term trend. Ten years ago, Christmas Day 2001, the top five got 71.2 million viewers. The most watched programme this year took 9.9 million viewers. Ten years ago, the audience was 21.3 million.

Part of that, of course, is the fragmentation of the media. Viewers do not have to put up with what they are given and can channel-hop. Then, increasingly, there is available streamed entertainment via the internet. People can pick their own films and other programmes, download them at will and watch them at their leisure.

One likes to think that that is an expression of people power – that we are no longer in the thrall of a few media giants, who dictate what we watch. But real power will probably only come when we burn our televisions. That is not going to happen for some time yet.

The new, highly mobile force has boosted the anti-Assad Free Syrian Army with 2,500 ex-Libyan and active Iraqi terrorists and is commanded by the Libyan ex-al Qaeda militia commander Abdel Hakim Belhaj. Israel should be concerned that the new force may try and reach Gaza.
