On November 11th three Party Leaders will bow their heads
At the Cenotaph, in remembrance of our heroic dead,
Just two minutes silence, for two world wars,
But this year, for a little while longer, pause.
Think why our valiant youth gave up their lives,
Think how they fought to keep our British way of life,
Their loved ones left at home too, a high price paid,
For many were killed in the endless bombing raids.
They fought for the freedom you're so keen to let slip,
And Hitler's dream may turn to reality yet.
