AnneMany thanks for this! This is a nightmare scenario. The Oyster Card in use by London Transport is a good example. Mine went wrong once and I went with one of the staff to a machine where they were able to read where I had by bus por tube every day for about 7 months back. For this reason I will not have store loyalty cards at any price. It is only one step from these to embedding a chip subcutaneously in individuals.Note how often the word "Control" (of us of course) is used.I must go though it in greater detail in the days to come.xxxxxxxxxx csOn 14 Aug 2008, at 22:47, xxxxxxxxxxxx ap wrote:I don't know whether you have read this-86 pagesRFID and Identity Management in Every Day Life (In attachment if this doesn't work)

I fully agree,
If any of you saw the film Logan's Run (with the "Re-born" scene - death at 30 to prevent over-population due to post-nuclear war and nothing left on earth) activated from the subcutaneous green computer chip in your hand turning to red - then you will know that this film was uncannily accurate in it's prediction!
We are not there yet, though - quite! ...but we're working on it!
