Well knocking Americans is kind of dumb considering libertarians there
is far more organized think Ron Paul & The Free State Project. I
personally know two hosts of daily syndicated libertarian radio shows.
Non of which we have here & I know this is going to hurt but some I
know (though I’d not include myself) lay the blame with you & the LA.
I agree with Mario's answer, but would like to know what we are supposed
to be doing wrong, and how it might be better done. Bear in mind there
is another Libertarian Alliance and a Libertarian Party now. They do not
seem to have been notably more successful at spreading the libertarian
message.
My own view is that we are failing because our movement is filled with
economic technocrats who know all the arguments for why income tax
should come down by another penny, and why the cracks between the paving
stones should be privatised. There are no libertarian artists and poets
and novelists and film-makers - none of the people who have and can
communicate a vision of a better world.
Imagine a Russian Communist Party c1910, run by the sort of people who
later became Gosplan officials.
That is why we are failing. It has nothing to do with anything that I
and the LA are doing. It is a matter of what we are not doing and on the
whole cannot do.
