News - Africa: Mbeki leaves Zim after a (fake) political deal - Or has Mbeki's Trickery of Tsvangirai failed?

Date Posted: Wednesday 13-Aug-2008
[It appears to me as if Mbeki's hopes of screwing Tsvangirai over, and Tsvangirai falling for it, may have come to an end. Ergo, Mbeki has left. As for the "deal" between Mugabe and Mutambara - well, we've predicted for ages that Mutambara is a "sleeper" - a mole - infiltrated to split the MDC. His OWNER and PUPPET-MASTER has now activated him and told him its time to sign the deal.

This is why Mbeki and Mugabe were so confident from the outset. They knew they just needed to tell Mutambara WHEN TO SIGN and he would.

They hoped they could use him, as swing vote, to rip the carpet from under Morgan Tsvangirai and the REAL MDC. I have been hoping that Morgan would stand firm. This seems indeed to have been the case.

Let me say this: To hell with Mbeki and Mugabe, if they want to try to railroad Morgan and the REAL MDC. In my viewpoint, Morgan's CREDIBILITY has gone up because of his firm stance. He has shown that he will not be herded like the rest of the sheep and liars, and ORDERED AROUND by Mbeki and Mugabe. He's his own man, and his organisation stands on its OWN FEET.

I want to add to this, my utter DELIGHT at the stance of President Khama of Botswana who said he would personally boycott the 14 country SADC meeting in Johannesburg because if Mugabe attends he will NOT attend. So I take my hat off to President Khama for showing more backbone than we've seen yet from an African President.

Oh, and let's not forget the good work done by President Manawasa of Zambia, prior to when Mugabe and Mbeki very possibly had someone try to poison him and kill him.

It is absolutely fabulous to see some of these "new generation" leaders starting to stand up. Morgan is under particularly tough pressures since he has such a conspiracy against him its just not true. But his organisation has stood the test of time, and he is looking more like a real leader with each passing day.

Mbeki and Mugabe had a filthy plan for Zimbabwe - as the bastards always do - and that plan was to screw Morgan out of his rightful place as President.

My Liberal friend and I were chatting on the phone, commenting on Mbeki's statement that there is "only one sticking point". Oh yeah? And it is actually the CORE OF EVERYTHING. It is: WHO RUNS ZIMBABWE. Mbeki tries to downplay it, but in reality, from day 1, it was THE ONLY POINT! And Mbeki and Mugabe hoped that if they all got Tsvangirai into a room and they all worked him, along with Mutambara, the treasonous mole, that between the three of them, they could mess with Morgan's mind and con him into giving up his positions.

The fact is also, since the MoU was signed, that to this day - political violence against Morgan's REAL MDC has not ceased or slowed down at all. Now if Mbeki had even half an ounce of decency in him, then he would have STOPPED THE TALKS and told Mugabe to STOP THE VIOLENCE. But you never heard that. But we know Mbeki by now. The man is completely dishonest and utterly untrustworthy. He never, for one moment, intended to do anything, except try his utmost to save his buddy Robert Mugabe.

So we now have a very difficult situation for the REAL MDC. What do they do now? I still think, they must not sign on the dotted line until they are happy. To do so is to give CREDIBILITY to the CON JOB that Mbeki tried to pull off.

And ask yourself, what, if anything, the REAL MDC got out of these negotiations? What did they get that they did not have before? In fact, they've possibly lost their "ally" - but we knew he was a fake all along anyway. However it is good that he's shown his true colours. Now everyone knows never to trust Mutambara again - and I hope he goes on to lose his followers in the future - when everyone realises that he is just another extension of ROBERT MUGABE.

Why should the MDC sign if they GOT NOTHING? They did not even get a cessation to the violence?

My Liberal friend says that the REAL MDC could now issue a statement like Mandela did in the 1960's saying: "We tried to talk, but it did not succeed. We have no option".

Let us take our hats off to Mugabe. His long range planning and his creation of the split in the MDC and his infiltration of it, even though it largely failed, was in the end, enough to secure him just a little bit more of what he needed to get by. Mugabe's long range planning did pay off in the end. It wasn't perfect, but with Mbeki's connivance and dishonest broking, they managed to push Morgan once more out of the PRESIDENCY.

Morgan Tsvangirai is the President of Zimbabwe. That is a fact. It happened on March 29. Was there really even a need for a run-off? But once more, Morgan has been screwed out of his rightful position. And all Africa stands by and says nothing. But let's take our hats off to President Khama of Botswana, whose proving that he also has a firm backbone.

You see, the time may be coming for people to stand up to these corrupt old filthy bastards with their corrupt, paid-for regimes filled with their "bought" politicians - all of whom are living the good life off the state.

Democracy? Well, that's the biggest joke of all. It doesn't exist in Zimbabwe and it doesn't exist in South Africa. We are living in ONE PARTY MARXIST STATES. That is the reality. Don't kid yourself. Whether you are Black or White - YOU HAVE NO SAY. The only people who have any say are THE RULING PARTY. The rest of us all count for NOTHING! Jan]

Harare - President Thabo Mbeki on Wednesday flew out of Zimbabwe after allegedly striking an agreement with a breakaway opposition faction.

"Mbeki is going to give a report to SADC chair of defence and security, President Jose (Eduardo) dos Santos. After that we are going back home," said Mbeki's spokesperson, Mukoni Ratshitanga.

Talks adjourned after Zimbabwe President Robert Mugabe reached a deal with Arthur Mutambara, the leader of a smaller Movement for Democratic Change (MDC) grouping, that would lead to the formation of a government.

Main MDC opposition leader Morgan Tsvangirai left the negotiations early on Tuesday amid suggestions that he was being cut out of a deal to end the country's political crisis.

"The talks are adjourned not ended, but I wouldn't say until when. Tsvangirai needs more time to consult on specific matter(s)," the spokesman added as Mbeki left for Luanda to meet the Angolan president.

He would not say whether the talks would resume before or after the weekend Southern African Development Community (SADC) summit which takes place in Johannesburg.
