European Analysts Say Mideast War is Imminent

Hardly a day passes without new threats emanating from nuclear-arming, Islamist Iran and its Lebanese and Palestinian proxies. This may be the reason: an increasing number of European analysts believe the United States plans to attack Iran's nuclear installations before the national election on November 4.
A US attack is certain to trigger massive missile strikes by Iran, Hezbollah, and Syria on Israeli cities and US bases in the Middle East. Diplomatic efforts to persuade Syria to stay out of the conflict have failed.
The Syrians, in fact, have interpreted the talks as a sign of Israeli weakness; and Damascus is apparently too deeply involved with iran and Hezbollah--and too heavily infiltrated by Islamists--to go its own way.
Iran will also retaliate by trying to close the strategic Strait of Hormuz to international shipping.
Palestinians Plan to Attack
Once the shooting starts, Hamas and Islamic Jihad will launch waves of terrorist--and rocket--attacks against Israeli civilians. Islamic Jihad on Saturday threatened to unleash "the fires of hell" on Israel, as it staged a military parade in the south of the Islamist-ruled Gaza Strip.
"We will unleash the fires of hell if the Zionist enemy continues its crimes," said the group's military chief Abu Hamzeh after the parade by around 800 Islamic Jihad members, an AFP journalist reported.
"We're getting ready for the next round," he added, saying "the Zionist enemy will have neither peace nor security while it occupies our land."
Galilee Arabs Plot Insurrection
Israeli Arab Islamist cells in the Galilee will probably attempt an insurrection in order to bog down Israeli troops. The pro-Al Qaeda Islamists are inspired by the example of Kosovo, a Muslim state stupidly installed in the heart of Europe by the US and NATO. Russian recognition of the breakaway Georgian enclaves of South Ossetia and Abkhazia have also encouraged the Galilee uprising plotters. The nationalist and religious revivals of recent years have weakened the international system, setting the stage for a seemingly endless series of regional and local wars.
Back to the Middle East. If Tel Aviv and other Israeli population centers come under attack, the Jewish state will respond with devastating aerial assaults aimed at ending the Iranian-Hezbollah-Syrian menace for once and all.
No punches will be pulled to also end the Hamas/Islamic Jihad threat.
Galilee Arabs who opt for revolt will be crushed and swept from the state.
Again, Israel will not pull any punches this time around. Its survival is on the line. All necessary weapons and tactics will be used to win the war.
Israeli political and military leaders have warned the country that the home front will be a front line in the coming conflict. Not for nothing has the government stockpiled and distributed WMD protective suits and gas masks.
