Government Tells All Israelis In Sinai To Come Home Immediately

Israel’s Counter Terrorism Bureau issued a warning on Monday to all Israelis vacationing in Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, urging them to return to Israel due to a “concrete and immediate” threat of abduction. The warning said the threat of Israelis being abducted and smuggled into the Gaza Strip is very serious and called on all Israelis to leave Sinai immediately, without delay. The bureau added that recent intelligence reports on the Hizbullah terrorist organization raised the threat even further. 09/15/08
