Barak Promises Livni His Support While Right Calls For General Elections
Olmert’s resignation marks the official commencement of Tzipi Livni’s daunting task of piecing together a new coalition. The task will not be an easy one and if it fails, Israel will be headed for full scale general elections. After meeting with new Kadima Leader Tzipi Livni, Defense Minister Ehud Barak promised his support for Livni’s bid to form a new coalition government. 09/22/08

This is the hill upon which Jesus was said to have preached the "Sermon on the Mount". The lie of the land next to the church forms a natural amphitheatre sloping down to the lake side, so it is more likely that Jesus stood at the bottom of the hill, but this does not detract from the beauty of the church on its crest.09/21/08 |
