A day after the United Nations General Assembly applauded Iranian President Ahmadinejad for his speech before the assembly in which he rebuked America and declared that “the Zionist regime is on a definite slope to collapse," President Shimon Peres told the same assembly that Ahamdinejad is a disgrace to Islam and the entire world. According to Labor Party leader Ehud Barak a military strike on Iran appears to be closer then ever.09/25/08

A bomb scare on an El Al flight from Paris ended safely on Wednesday evening, after the plane escorted by two Israeli Air Force jets landed safely at Ben Gurion Airport. McCartney, who arrived on board a private jet with his band and accompanying staff, is staying at the Dan Hotel in Tel Aviv. Mid day Wednesday, McCartney ventured outside his room, met with a few reporters and photographers before leaving for rehearsals at the Park.09/24/08
