Thirty Years After Jimmy Carter Betrayed an American Ally, Will Barack Obama Betray Israel?

Is Israel the next Iran--i.e. the next strategic US ally to be sold out and sacrificed to Radical Islam?
The answer is yes if the next Jimmy Carter wins this year's US Presidential election. If Barack Obama conquers the White House, his administration will betray and pressure Israel into making concessions that will lead to the destruction or dismantling of the Jewish state--the only democracy in the Middle East and America's only real ally in the region. In that sense, the end game for Israel will recall the way the Carter administration betrayed and pressured the Iranian monarchy into making concessions to the unholy Islamist-Left alliance that facilitated the overthrow of a vital American ally in 1979.
Iran's Shah, Mohammed Reza Pahlavi, you may recall, was a modernizing leader who made the mistake of not siding with the Soviet Union. Had he turned himself into a left-wing dictator--the so-called president of a so-called people's republic--the left-leaning media in the US and Europe would never have turned against him, he would never have fallen, and his oldest son, Reza Pahlavi, would probably be running Iran today instead of running a website for pro-democracy Iranian exiles.
The anti-Israel mainstream media are already sharpening their knives in anticipation of an Obama victory. Israel leads the list of countries that the Left aims to kill, cripple, or cut down to size. In Israel's case, the killing, crippling or cutting will be rationalized as necessary moves to "save Israel from itself."
You can bet on this: Obama's self-hating Jewish advisers will work overtime to legitimize the final solution to what they and their colleagues see as the problem of Israel.
Ultimate Bailout: Crazy Idea?
Richard J. Ash, a professor of entrepreneurship and private equity at Mason School of Business, College of William and Mary, writes:I'm against the $85 billion bailout of AIG. Instead, I'm in favor of giving $85 billion to America in a We Deserve It Dividend.
To make the math simple, let's assume there are 200 million bon-a-fide, 18+ US citizens. Our population is about 301 million +/- counting every man, woman and child. So 200 million might be a fair stab at adults 18 and up.
So divide 200 million adults 18+ into $85 billion. That equals $425,000.
My plan is to give $425,000 to every person 18+ as a We Deserve It Dividend.
Of course, it would not be tax free. So let's assume a tax rate of 30%.
Every individual 18+ has to pay $127,500 in taxes. That sends $25.5 billion right back to Uncle Sam.
But it means that every adult 18+ has $297,500. in their pocket. A husband and wife has $595,000.
What would you do with $297,500. to $595,000. in your family?
*Pay off your mortgage--housing crisis solved.
*Repay college loans--what a great boost to new grads
*Put away money for college--it'll be there.
*Save in a bank--create money to loan to entrepreneurs.
*Buy a new car--create jobs.
*Invest in the market--capital drives growth.
*Pay for your parent's medical insurance--health care improves.
*Enable deadbeat dads to come clean--or else.
Remember: this is for every adult US citizen 18+, including the folks who lost their jobs at Lehman Brothers and every other company that is cutting back. And of course, for those serving in our Armed Forces.
If we're going to do an $85 billion bailout, let's bail out every adult US citizen 18+!
As for AIG, liquidate it. Sell off its parts. Let American General go back to being American General. Sell off the real estate. Let the private sector bargain hunters cut it up and clean it up.
Here's my rationale: we deserve it and AIG doesn't.
Sure, it's a crazy idea that can "never work." But can you imagine the coast-To-coast block party!

I trust my fellow adult Americans to know how to use the $85 Billion We Deserve It Dividend more than I do the geniuses at AIG or in Washington, DC.
And remember: the plan only really costs $59.5 Billion because $25.5 billion is returned instantly in taxes to Uncle Sam.

Coalition forces killed five enemy fighters in operations Oct. 3, targeting al-Qaeda and Taliban terrorist networks in eastern Afghanistan.
Coalition forces targeted a Taliban sub-commander in Andar district who was known to plan and coordinate bombing attacks in Ghazni province. He was also wanted for helping move foreign fighters into Afghanistan.
In Ghazni, coalition forces killed two armed militants. Coalition forces found several AK-47s and bomb-making materials at the compound.
In Konar, coalition forces called in air strikes on several enemy fighters as they approached a U.S. base. Three armed militants were killed. Forces searched the area and found several AK-47s, hand grenades and other military style equipment.
In other operations in Afghanistan, one civilian was killed and four others wounded in the village of Matin in Pech District, Konar province, yesterday when militants attacked an Afghan National Army and coalition forces patrol.
The fighters shot at the joint forces patrol and fired rocket-propelled grenades. The enemy fighters also attacked the local village, according to officials. The body of the civilian was recovered. No coalition forces were wounded.
One enemy fighter blew himself up Oct. 2 as coalition forces targeted the Haqqani terrorist network in Khowst province. Coalition forces searched a compound for a known foreign fighter facilitator for the Haqqani terrorist network. As forces moved in, the suspect detonated a suicide vest, killing himself. No coalition forces were injured in the blast.

There is no shame in voting to defeat a candidate. Five good reasons to vote for John McCain in order to stop Barack Hussein Obama from coming to power are listed below.
1. Obama is unfit to be Commander-in-Chief. His multinational mindset and identity (triple citizenship, according to available evidence), and mysterious ties to menacing foreign figures, and domestic left-wing radicals and racists are serious, legitimate issues.
2. Obama's "aggressive diplomacy" and "engagement" of nuclear-arming, Islamist Iran would make war on Iranian terms inevitable, just as attempts to appease Nazi Germany before World War II failed to preserve the peace and instead made a global conflict inevitable--on Hitler's terms.
3. Obama's election as America's first Muslim-born President (according to Islamic religious law) would embolden and encourage foreign and domestic Islamists, including Islamist terrorists and their sympathizers and fellow travelers. Thank heaven for the IDF. It will not hesitate to obliterate enemy villages in the next war with Hezbollah--something the United States should have done in Afghanistan within hours of 9/11.
Neither the US nor Israel can afford protracted wars fought with CNN rules of engagement.
The time to eradicate the Islamist menace--including nuclear-arming Iran--is long overdue. Any and all necessary weapons--including tactical nuclear weapons--should be used.

Again, Atlas Shrugs broke the story.
The courageous and talented Pamela Geller, editor and publisher of Atlas Shrugs, broke the story back in July. The Republican National Committee is finally taking action; and Newsweek, which is backing Barack Obama, appears to have swiped and slanted the news.
