The American troops and the early warning sytem are already in Israel preparing the system to become operational. IAF To Purchase Fighter Jets After Pentagon Approves Deal
Israel’s Air Force will purchase 25 F-35 joint strike fighter jets after the Pentagon approved the sale paving the way for the deal. The deal is reportedly valued at $15.2 billion and provides the option to purchase an additional 50 additional bombers in the coming years. According to reports the estimated value of each plane is between $70 million and $80 million.
