FROM BRITS AT THEIR BEST

We are writing to you because we know that you understand freedom
philosophically, practically and even mystically as an inheritance that comes to us through the efforts of generations of people - an inheritance we want to protect and to share.

If you are an American, the connection between the British Constitution and the US Constitution may seem obscure. If you are a Brit you may have been falsely told that there is no British Constitution - only a vague penumbra of unwritten ideas.

It has taken decades for the two of us to see this subject with any clarity and to understand the Sovereign's constitutional role. It strikes us that HM The Queen has been badly misguided by her instructors and ministers.

A recent letter of ours to The Queen was forwarded to the Ministry of Justice. The Ministry replied, and we responded with another letter to The Queen in which we asked Her Majesty four key questions.
