Al Franken claimed this weekend that when all the "ballots" are counted he will defeat Republican Norm Coleman for the Minnesota seat. If this happens, it will be a travesty. Franken is one of the most notorious liberals in the country. And he is backed by the hard Left. They are attempting to steal the election. When Election Day came and went last November, Norm Coleman led Franken by almost a 1000 votes. But then Franken and his liberal allies counter-attacked. Franken traveled to New York where billionaire George Soros threw a fundraiser for Franken helping him to raise millions for his legal fight. He demanded that "rejected" ballots — ballots that local election boards in Minnesota ruled were in error and should not be counted — be considered legitimate for the vote. Franken then got the Minnesota Supreme Court, in a 3 to 2 decision, to agree with him. The Court gave both campaigns a deadline of December 31st to fight and haggle over each ballot. With the help of Democratic friends in Minnesota, including the state's Democratic Secretary of State, Mark Ritchie, the ballot recounting has been almost entirely lopsided, with most of the "challenged" ballots going for Franken. You should know that Ritchie was backed for election to his post by groups supported by Soros. You should know that the Wall Street Journal has noted that it is simply statistically impossible for all of the questionable ballots falling so much in favor of Franken — when the race was so close to begin with. What Franken's doing is "unethical." "[H]e's only interested in winning the election", Wall Street Journal commentator and author John Fund has stated. Fund noted that Franken and his allies only want to count votes for him, not conduct a fair recount where Republican votes get counted too. It's disgusting what Franken and Soros are trying to do in Minnesota. And the major media are ignoring this brazen hijacking of a free and democratic election. We all know what is at stake. If Franken defeats Coleman, the Democrats in the Senate are just one vote shy of defeating a Republican filibuster.
