Anglers To Have Quotas?
Are we to believe reports that the EU now wants to impose fishing controls on amateur anglers using rod and line, or individual pots?
If so, what is proposed and how are such controls to be enforced and monitored?
British Gas Resources
Will the Commission confirm that it has no plans to seize natural gas resources around the British Isles, and still within the UK's territorial waters, enjoyed by the British people since their discovery and development many decades ago?
Biodegradable Fuel Problem
What measures are the Commission taking to advise the British government on the interpretation of EU directive 2001/77 which seems to have been totally misunderstood in London? When will the commission confirm that paper, cardboard and other biodegradable refuse is not "waste" but "biomass" and can therefore be used to generate energy?
Migrants Double Standards
Does the Commission have any plans to address the double standards now being applied in the UK and elsewhere in the EU as a result of muslim migrants demanding that their religion and views be given preferential status?
Might not the Commission usefully remind the governments of those countries, from which these thousands of economic migrants come, that they do not allow equality of religion and freedom of speech? Should they not be told it ill behoves their people to make excessive demands in their new host nations? Is not choice and freedom enough?
