By designating this cabal as "demonic," I do not imply that there is need for hatred, anxiety, or hopelessness. It is simply the situation that this cabal has seized control and we need to face it and get on with the business of overcoming this cabal and bringing about fundamental change in our society. We should not simply sit about idly theorizing or smiling at the devastation of human beings in our society and throughout the world. Something must be done! The purpose of this exposé of the cabal is to help American and world citizens see who is controlling events from behind the scenes, to assist in making clear just what kind of demonic forces are bringing about the destruction of American and world values and institutions. It's clear that many people are so possessed by the current reactionary brainwashing that they will be unable to consider any of these ideas. But some people throughout the world are waking up to what's going on and they need to see behind the curtain to the real, I've chosen to use the word "demonic" 1 because it seems most descriptive of the nature of this depraved coterie that has seized power illegitimately. They are certainlycriminals in that they commit outragescontinually. But their misdeeds are more base than that; they are evil and wicked in the truest sense and therefore are best described as demonic. This essay will deal with the broader aspects of the demonic cabal, referring to the incriminating details in the material referenced below. In this essay, we'll first review how cabals have operated throughout history, seizing power and manipulating the populace. Reviewing the American experience, we'll see how a wealthy plutocracy during the American struggle for independence from Britain devolved into a criminal cabal. Next, we'll examine Plato's concept of an intelligent, beneficent elite and how this relates to our American experience. Finally, we'll explore ways in which this current demonic cabal is being overcome as its brittle strength declines to the point of defeat. Though it is historically common for a small elite to lead any group, it is decidedly not "natural" or commendable for an elite to form into a cabal, "a group of persons secretly united to bring about an overturn or usurpation in public affairs." 2 The term cabal derives from Kabbalah (which has numerous spelling variations), the mystical interpretation of the Hebrew scripture, and originally meant either an occult doctrine or a secret. The term took on its present insidious meaning from a group of ministers chosen in 1667 by King Charles II of England. The destruction of the American mind and American institutions is now so far advanced that the demonic cabal has been able to establish a totalitarian police state without the people rising up against them. The cabal has taken great pains to avoid publicity and recognition, to the point that most people are blind to its existence. It requires advanced powers of discernment to even see its presence, so hidden has been its subversive activity. Anyone who speaks of a cabal is immediately dismissed as a paranoid conspiracy theorist, 3 lumped with extremists of all stripes, and made persona non grata in any professional field. At present, Americans are faced with an illegal junta which is repeating a vile era in American history: the seizure of all governmental powers by a single party-cabal during John Adams' presidency from 1797-1801. They are following in exact detail the monopolization of power practiced by the Federalist-Adams dictatorship. In the twentieth century, the cabal was known in France as the Comité des Forges and in Britain as the Cliveden Set. Winston Churchill was quoted by wartime associates as making reference to the "High Cabal," the international power elite. Since Churchill was a part of what we're referring to as the demonic cabal, we can understand why he would use the term "high" to describe it, while acknowledging its existence nonetheless. "In addition to these pragmatic goals, the powers of financial capitalism had another far-reaching aim, nothing less than to create a world system of financial control in private hands able to dominate the political system of each country and the economy of the world as a whole. This system was to be controlled in a feudalist fashion by the central banks of the world acting in concert, by secret agreements arrived at in frequent private meetings and conferences. The apex of the system was the Bank for International Settlements in Basle, Switzerland, a private bank owned and controlled by the world's central banks which were themselves private corporations. The growth of financial capitalism made possible a centralization of world economic control and use of this power for the direct benefit of financiers and the indirect injury of all other economic groups.'' "The oligopoly is not governed by the laws of 'competition' but by a mix of competition and oligopolistic agreements—often called 'consensus'—which is itself unstable in the sense that a moment dominated by consensus (such as ours) may be followed by a moment of ferocious competition. This would take the form of conflict among states since, although each of the units that compose the oligopoly operates on the transnational ground of the world economy, they each remain national by the adherence of their top management to the bourgeoisie of a particular state." Far from this information about the cabal being a harbinger of doom or cause for hopelessness, it can and is being used by many people to gain understanding and act to remove this cabal from power. New evidence of the cabal's control of both the Republican and Democratic parties in the U.S. surfaced in 2006 when Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced that she would not allow impeachment hearings into detailed allegations of crimes by 
President Bush. In July, 2008, Barack Obama's legal advisor (and University of Chicago law professor) Cass Sunstein said that as president, Obama would not prosecute crimes that Bush and his confederates committed while in office such as torture and unlawful surveillance. Sunstein admitted that "egregious crimes" should not be ignored, implying that he and Obama consider Bush's crimes as "non-egregious."
