Sunday, January 11, 2009 ed thomas # Not a peep You probably don't know that Slovenia (that little country between Austria and Croatia) has just experienced its lowest recorded temperatures - 47 degrees below zero. Even were it the case that other news sources had no interest in this information due to global warming enthusiasm, the BBC is supposed to compensate for the innate bias of non-public funded media- so it is usually argued. In fact, the Beeb is married to the Met, which does a nice line in giving global warming advice (but is rather poorer at getting the weather right). Corporate socialism you see- shielded, funded, its interests well and truly vested in convenient paradigms and worldviews. This is also known as b-i-a-s, and it's what this website is concerned with. Comments: 57 (unread) - Biased BBC Home David Vance # OBAMA-NATION. I was reading through this press release for Obama, disguised as a BBC news story. It's headed "Obama plan "could create 4m jobs" and it has the most superficial examination possible of The One's great econmic plans. Curiously, there is no balancing mention of the staggering levels of trans-generational debt his plan will impose upon Americans. There is no mention of the fact that each job Obama "could" create is going to cost in excess of €250,000. This is what we are going to get for the next four years from the BBC. Obama worship. There will be no effort made to actually assess the value of what he is doing, all that matters is that he is doing it. Growing the State, wealth-redistribution, increased taxation - you can understand why the BBC love him. Comments: 24 (unread) - Biased BBC Home David Vance # JEWS AGAINST ISRAEL. I see the BBC starts today by flagging up the news that a predictable number of left-wing Jews have written in to The Observer (natch) demanding that Israel stops the military action against Hamas. Hey, even the Jews are against Israel! I also see that the BBC is still insisting that the pro-Hamas rallies yesterday "started peacefully but there were confrontations as police tried to move demonstrators away from the gates of the Israeli embassy." Confrontations?
