"?ABDULLAH II: THE 5 STATE SOLUTION?"
by Thomas L. Friedman (1)
by Emanuel A. Winston,
Freeman Center Mid East analyst & commentator

Once again Tom Friedman of the New York Times plays the imaginative go-between mouthpiece of the U.S. State Department and King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia. The first time his pretense was that Abdullah (then Crown Prince) confided his "peace initiative" plan for Israel to Friedman and by-passed normal diplomatic channels. (In his January 28th OpEd he claims that he (Friedman) laid out the plan and Abdullah agreed with him, saying Friedman had read Abdullah’s mind and that he had such a plan in his desk drawer.)

Everyone in the know, seemed to know that this bit of ugly wizardry both the first in 2002 and now came from Foggy Bottom itself and Friedman was only the carrier pigeon!

Now with Barack Obama as President, the State Department (under the new Sec. State Hillary Clinton) with Friedman in tow, was to re-popularize a NO-GO plan, designed to bring Israel to her knees and use the old Islamic double talk to lull Israel and the West into a belief that Saudi Arabia amd the 22 Arab Muslim states plus the total 56 Muslim states would give the Jewish State recognition and peace.

In essence, a sort of Grandiose Gaza, financed by Saudi Arabia with America to lead Israel into a charge. (Remember the Tennyson poem, The Charge of the Light Brigade: "Into the Valley of Death rode the 600")?
According to Abdullah, all Israel has to do is withdraw to the absolutely indefensible armistice or cease-fire lines of 1948 (which literally caused the 1967 Six Days War); allow the in-migration of a few million descendants of the 480,000 mixed Arab Muslim population which fled in 1948; divide Jerusalem, giving the Muslims all those parts, north, east and south, that Jordan had occupied and desecrated for 19 years from 1948 to 1967; allow the incoming Muslim Arab Palestinians to fill the vacuum left by 500,000 Jewish men, women and children (departing to where?) from Judea, Samaria and Jerusalem. The Muslim Arab Palestinians would take over the homes, farms, cities, utilities, factories and simply move in.

Naturally, they would also take over the water under the Judean and Samaria hills. (Friedman doesn’t yet include the surrender of the Jordan Valley and the Golan Heights - but, no doubt, he’ll get around to them soon.)
These same suicidal plans were formulated by Yitzhak Rabin, Shimon Peres and the rest of the Left in the early 1980s, followed by the Olso Accords surrender in 1993.

C’mon Friedman, were all friends so you can tell us about your mole role pandering for the U.S. State Department.
Your column of January 28th, instead of being a bogus message that Abdullah can repeat to George Mitchell, is chock-full of peace promises that seem to be a second language of the radical Islamic propagandists.
Clearly, you must be a member in good standing with the gaggle of court Jews who make themselves useful and available to Saudi Kings and other Arab Muslim nations. Did you consult with James Baker’s former (current again) Jew-boys, Dennis Ross, Aaron David Miller, and Dan Kurtzer? Surely, you must have chatted with Martin Indyk of the Saban Center. Perhaps even Noam Chomsky? Or did you seek advice from Zbigniew Brzezinski or Henry (Heinz) Kissinger? Did Rahm Emanuel suggest that such an article would give George Mitchell an opening to start formal pressure with the Kadimites (Olmert, Barak and Livni) before they’re ousted from power?

I hope you don’t think that you are accused of being a floating Leftist, posing as an objective journalist for the infamous New York Times (which seems to be going out of business).

But, not to worry, you could always plant stories for Ha’aretz or revive Der Stürmer.
Well, good luck, wherever you land. We can always keep track of you by the hostile stories and angles you will continue to plant against Israel’s security and sovereignty.
