WANTED - The men in the white coats
I send this out to illustraste how utterly detached from reality Gordon Brown is becoming. He is pinning everything on his April 2nd G20 summit here in London. - there’s urgency for you! Six weeks to get worse! Cooperation is an easy thing to promise and I’m sure they could write the communiqué now!
But the whole of this statement indicates that he is totally unaware of the collapse going on all around him. He’s got his hands in his ears and cries continually “Global problem - Nothing to do with me - Global problem - Nothing to do with me - Global problem - Nothing to do with me”.

“Britain, the rest of Europe, America and now the rest of the world have been brought low by an economic hurricane that no body could have predicted. National action alone will not be enough,” he said.
Speaking on a visit to Rome, the Prime Minister said the situation meant a “global bargain” had to be struck at the G20 summit to tackle the global recession.
“We are trying to build for that summit a global deal a global bargain where each country will make its contribution to the recovery of the world economy,” he said.
He added: "If each country can work together to restore the financial system to inject resources into their economy and to agree that international institutions have got to take an even greater responsibility for action then we will see a global bargain at the April G20 meeting that will speed up the recovery of the world economy”
.
Mr Brown said that in coming months there would see “unprecedented global co-operation”, and pledged specific measures to help people facing poverty.
“There are 100 million people who have been pushed into poverty around the world as a result of this economic crisis,” he said, adding that such people “will be uppermost in our minds and we will bring forward specific measures to help them during these difficult times”.
