If they are just blindly rubber stamping much of the 70% plus of EU
directives and passing them,without checks or debate then
Parliament is
redundant Parliament has become so arrogant and undemocratic,it does not
even debate any longer,it has removed itself from power by being
inactive.
If we take what you say about Italy as 'true' then it is clear Italy,is
more democratic and active because it reads every detail.Italy,
itself,the EU controls us.
Parliament in the UK just pretends that it has power,when infact it is
just blindly giving way to directives it rubber stamped 18 months
earlier. If you give me a command and I do it without question or even
understanding or reading that command,then you control me. Mandelson,is
running the UK,not Brown.He sits as a Lord and works via the House of
Commons,yet he bypasses both. He is a Commissioner of the EU.
So far Mandleson has,sold off some of the Post Office,he has written the
Queen's speech,he has merged HBOS and LTSB,into a Superbank,while
ignoring OFT and merger concerns,he was there when the strikes were on
earlier this year,regarding foreign workers,he fixed that.He was being
questioned last few days on tv by the commons commitee,he was not taking
that too seriously either. He is unelected and said to be Deputy
PM,unofficially.
This country is run from the EU via Mandleson.
Parliament is a toothless creature that barks very loud,with no bite.
