Tackling climate change is a key improvement priority here at Bath & North East Somerset. We recognise that we have a unique role to play, working with our partners, to lead the district to a sustainable, low carbon future. We have ambitious plans to cut our own carbon emissions and to find the local, sustainable solutions that will make low carbon living a reality for all.
We now have vacancies for two Corporate Sustainability Officers, whose primary role will be to develop and deliver a range of projects across the Council and the Local Strategic Partnership.
You will have proven project management experience; knowledge and understanding of sustainability issues, particularly climate change; strong communication skills and a real desire to make a difference and achieve change.
