Japanese Politician Agrees with China Confidential, Says N. Korea Has Nuclear Warheads, Can Hit Tokyo
A former Japanese finance minister, Shoichi Nakagawa, has suggested that Japan should consider developing its own nuclear deterrent in the face of growing threats from nuclear-armed North Korea.
Nakagawa, who represents northern Japan, was quoted by Kyodo News as saying: "It is common sense worldwide that in a purely military sense it is nuclear that can counteract nuclear."
The senior politician also said he believed that North Korea was in possession of nuclear warheads and medium range Rodong missiles capable of being delivered to any part of Japan.

Former Turkish PM Now Important Iranian Agent
Erbakan was Turkey's first Islamist premier, serving from 1996 to 1997. The military, traditionally the guardian of Turkey's secular system, pressured him to step down in a so-called soft coup.
In Tehran Saturday, Erbakan described peace with Israel as a "childish" idea, called the Jewish State a "crocodile," and suggested the United States should resettle Israeli Jews.Iran-Backed Hamas Leader Calls for New Holocaust
A Gaza-based representative of former U.S. President Jimmy Carter's favorite Palestinian terrorist group--Iran-backed Hamas--has called for the annihilation of the Jewish people. The cleric--considered a "moderate" Islamist--accuses all Jews of being "evil" and makes a special point of urging Muslims to exterminate Jewish children.
Carter has met twice in Damascus with the exiled leader of Hamas, which the U.S. State Department has formally designated a Foreign Terrorist Organization. Carter and his former National Security Adviser, Zbigniew Brzezinski, have urged President Barack Obama to "engage" Hamas--which Obama plans to do in the context of his appeasement of Islamist Iran (and Islamism in general).
China Confidential Washington sources say the Obama administration intends to pressure Israel to accept a Hamas-dominated Palestinian state in Gaza and the contested West Bank territories of Judea and Samaria, which Israel liberated during the defensive Six-Day War of June 1967. Israel will also be pressured to withdraw from East Jerusalem and accept a power-sharing arrangement for the Old City.
