Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman’s candor in his “maiden speech” was indeed refreshing. He said inter alia that the Palestinian Authority must fulfill all the requirements of the “Road Map” to a Palestinian statewhich means there will be no Palestinian state. This is “realism.” It means no end to the conflictnot if one takes Islam or Arab-Islamic culture seriously. It’s plain that the Obama administration and the European Union do not take Islam seriously......

Thomas Edison once said, “Genius is two percent inspiration and ninety-eight percent perspiration.” Throughout the 19th and 20th centuries, Americans were “inspired” by the promise of a better life. The Last Americans
For those who’ve never read 1984, I can only say, please do. And when you’ve read it, read Ray Bradbury’s Fahrenheit 451. Then read Elie Wiesel’s Night. After that, you may want to read Tim LaHaye and Jerry Jenkins’ Left Behind. While you’re at it, find a copy of the U.S. Constitution and read it carefully, from the Preamble at least through the Bill of Rights. When you’re done, read your Bible, particularly the apocalyptic books, chapters and verses, starting with Ezekiel, Daniel and Joel then Matthew 24 and 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18, and, of course, Revelation........
