Obama Bows ... Physically ... to Saudi King
A shocking photograph appears on the eve of the North Korean ICBM launch.
The President of the United States ... as if to confirm 2008 Presidential campaign rumors and whispers that he is a foreign-born tool of Islamic forces ... has ... bowed ... to the King of Saudi Arabia.
Americans do not bow to monarchs. Bowing signifies submission to a foreign power.
Washington, Jefferson, Lincoln, Teddy Roosevelt, FDR, Truman, Ike, and JFK ... must be turning in their graves. John McCain, who suffered and sacrificed so much for his country, must be sick to his stomach.
An image like this before the election could have cost Obama the White House.
UPDATE: China Confidential analysts say the President intends to include Islamic references in his upcoming speech to the Turkish parliament, set for next Monday. The language is likely to embolden Islamist groups challenging Turkey's military, the guardian of the nation's secular system.
EDITOR'S NOTE: Atlas Shrugs and other conservative blogs are documenting the growing Muslim supremacist menace in the U.S. and Europe, an off-limits subject for most mainstream media outlets. Atlas Shrugs is relentlessly focused on the issue--must reading for anyone concerned about America's survival and well being.Comment: On Obama's Missile Crisis
By Andre Pachter
While America's new President parades across the world stage, the countdown to a new missile crisis has begun.
On some level, Obama's Korean missile crisis is more terrifying than JFK's Cuban Missile Crisis, which brought the world to the brink of superpower nuclear war. At least, there was a rational adversary--the Soviet Union--in the Cuban crisis. When push came to shove, Moscow blinked and backed down, and the world moved back from the an apocalyptic abyss.
Beijing is not Moscow. North Korea is not Cuba, although the Stalinist/Kimist regime has carefully learned a key lesson of the Caribbean crisis: nuclear weapons can be used to win a tacit security guarantee, in the form of a pledge of non-interference, from the United States. The problem is that even though China has the power to control North Korea--and replace the missile-mad regime--it has instead sought to use its vassal as a buffer against the U.S. and South Korea. And ... as crazy as Cuban Communist leader Fidel Castro was ... as shown by his willingness to risk a catastrophic conflict with Washington ... North Korea's present leaders are crazier.
There is another problem. Whereas the U.S. during the 1960s was not financially dependent on the Soviet Union--which was terribly weak, economically--the opposite is the case with regard to China. It is America's most important banker--and North Korea's most important ally.
The ally, North Korea, and the adversary, America, are both dependent on rising China.
Incredible.North Korea Fueling Rocket, Threatening War
North Korea is fueling its rocket--a ballistic missile capable of hitting Hawaii and Alaska--and escalating its bellicose rhetoric against Japan.
On Thursday, the Stalinist/Kimist state said it would deliver a " thunderbolt of fire" and attack "major targets" in Japan if Tokyo shoots the missile down.
North Korea is clearly threatening to attack Japan with a nuclear weapon. Similar threats are likely to be made against South Korea and the United States.
The North has nuclear arms and warheads.
Attempts to appease the nation, which is working closely with Iran, are bound to fail.
U.S. diplomacy since North Korea's October 9, 2006 nuclear test (which China Confidential predicted) has provided Pyongyang with precious time to make major advances in missile and warhead technology, and to share the results with its Islamist ally.
Both countries are using space programs to cover development of nuclear intercontinental ballistic missiles.
The Axis of Nuclear Evil believes that a world without America--and Israel--is both possible and attainable. Not for nothing are they focusing on concealed, sea-based launch systems--which make cargo ships deadly threats to U.S. coastal cities--and the feasibility of detonating nuclear warheads at high altitudes. An atomic explosion high above the center of the U.S.--known as an electromagnetic pulse, or EMP, attack--would wipe out modern electronics and communications and plunge the country into the dark for decades. Millions would perish from lack of drinking water, food, medicine, electricity and heat. (Environmental extremists would finally get their wish--a zero carbon footprint for the U.S.)
In other words, the U.S. and Israel--which the appeasers are increasingly willing to sacrifice--are both one-bomb countries. Deterrence through mutually assured destruction is a dead concept. The rogue nuclear regimes must be replaced. The alternative--appeasement based on wishful thinking and misreading enemy intentions--is a prescription for catastrophic defeat.
MARKET INTELLIGENCE: Financial markets will be rattled if the North Korean launch is successful. Equities, except for defense companies, are likely to decline; gold will probably jump up in price. A successful long-range rocket launch over Japan is also likely to affect the price of oil, sending crude prices higher because of the Iranian connection. If the missile comes close to Hawaii, gold and oil will soar.
China Confidential analysts say there is a deliberate effort underway by Iran and Venezuela to raise international tensions in order to push oil prices back up to the $80-per-barrel range. A significant increase in energy prices during the Great Recession will be disastrous for the U.S. economy and the effectively insolvent U.S. financial system.Death Blow for Detroit?
