Obama's Dept. Of Homeland Security Targets 'Right Wing Extremists'

This is very different than other similar reports done by the FBI in the past. Those focused narrowly on specific groups like the Black Panthers,The Aryan Brotherhood or ELF.
This one essentially indicts anyone who is pro Second Amendment, pro-border control, anti-abortion..or most tellingly, not a fan of the current Administration:
Rightwing extremism in the United States can be broadly divided into those groups, movements, and adherents that are primarily hate-oriented (based on hatred of particular religious, racial or ethnic groups), and those that are mainly antigovernment, rejecting federal authority in favor of state or local authority, or rejecting government authority entirely. It may include groups and individuals that are dedicated to a single issue, such as opposition to abortion or immigration.
Rightwing extremists are harnessing this historical election as a recruitment tool. Many rightwing extremists are antagonistic toward the new presidential administration and its perceived stance on a range of issues, including immigration and citizenship, the expansion of social programs to minorities, and restrictions on firearms ownership and use.
Rightwing extremists are increasingly galvanized by these concerns and leverage them as drivers for recruitment. From the 2008 election timeframe to the present, rightwing extremists have capitalized on related racial and political prejudices in expanded propaganda campaigns, thereby reaching out to a wider audience of potential sympathizers.
And it particularly targets veterans:((U) Disgruntled Military Veterans
U//FOUO) DHS/I&A assesses that rightwing extremists will attempt to recruit and radicalize returning veterans in order to exploit their skills and knowledge derived from military training and combat. These skills and knowledge have the potential to boost the capabilities of extremists—including lone wolves or small terrorist cells—to carry out violence.
What this is, in case you haven't noticed is the Leftist fantasy of the 'vast Right wing conspiracy' made real and part of official policy under government auspices.
Essentially, it's a foundation for an enemies list, likely to be enforced by Obama's own personal domestic security force...the one Congress just approved funding for. And it targets virtually every hot button issue that people might disagree with the Obama Administration on and tars them with the brush of 'extremists.'![]()
Somali Pirates Send A Message To Obama - 4 More Hijacks

Apparently the Somali pirates saw President Obama's initial restraint the same way I did yesterday.
They responded by hijacking four more ships and opening fire on a fifth:Somali pirates have brazenly hijacked four more ships in the Gulf of Aden over the last 24 hours and opened fire on a fifth.
The pirates captured two trawlers yesterday, a cargo ship named the M.V. Irene overnight, and a second cargo ship named the M.V. Seahorse today.
This afternoon a Nato official said a band of pirates had opened fire on a fifth cargo ship - but it managed to escape.
Natostaff officer Stephan Gresmak said ten pirates on board three skiffs fired automatic rifles and rocket-propelled grenades at the Liberian-flagged 21,887-tonne Safmarine Asia.
There was no immediate word of any casualties.
The sharp escalation in attacks come just hours after President Barack Obama vowed to step up the fight against piracy - and as the pirates vowed retaliation for the death of their five colleagues.
As I pointed out before, the locations of the pirate bases are known...so why haven't there been decisive attacks on the pirate bases and the pirate's Islamist protectors like the local al-Qaeda affiliate Al Shabab, which takes a share of the loot as 'taxes'? It could easily be done from the air or the sea, without having to send ground forces in.
Why haven't the navies of interested parties participated in a joint naval blockade, with instructions to interdict any ship approaching Somalia with suspicious cargo or to blow any Somalian craft that strays out of a clearly marked safe zone out of the water?
I mentioned yesterday the connections between Iran, Hezbollah and Al Shabab, and the pirates and Al Shabab are getting their arms from somewhere. Could Obama and the West be walking softly here when it comes to decisive action because Iran is delivering weapons to the Somalis and there is a general fear on the part of the US and the West to confront Iran in any fashion?
And it's also worth noting that the pirate raids provide a useful distraction from Iran's continued progress towards nuclear weapons - while the West does nothing about it.

Yesterday, Roger Hedgecock and the Liberty Papers posted an Office of Intelligence and Analysis report (PDF file here) by the Obama DHS that identifies 'Right wing Conservatives' as the major threat to our country's security.
I particularly note the demonization of people who took an oath to defend our Constitution while in uniform. If you look at totalitarian regimes, veterans have always been targeted, especially if they're thought to be armed.
It remains to be seen exactly how far this policy ends up going. It bears watching, to say the least.
