Next Year in Jerusalem?

The American Jewish community is sailing, or drifting, rudderless, into dangerous, uncharted waters.

The Obama administration's betrayal of Israel and appeasement of radical Islam--in the guise of engaging adversaries and encouraging supposedly moderate Islamist elements--is accelerating at an alarming pace.

The administration's vision of Israel is a neutralized ghetto in the "Muslim world," tolerated but destined to disappear over time.

In other words, the administration intends to squeeze Israel into the pre-1967 Auschwitz borders and set it up for a final solution at the hands of Iran, Hamas, and Hezbollah.

The administration also intends to cut the organized Jewish community down to size by elevating organized Islam, which, practically speaking, is synonymous with Islamism, a clerical fascist movement and ideology that the U.S. insists, even after the catastrophic blowback of the global jihad and 9/11, can still be manipulated and influenced.

An Israeli attack on Iran will trigger U.S. condemnation of Israel and a crackdown on pro-Israel charities and educational organizations and the country's remaining and steadily shrinking Zionist groups and youth movements. Approaching the eighth anniversary of the Islamist mega-attacks on New York and Washington, DC, synagogues and Zionists will be investigated and intimidated while mosques and Islamists will be praised and engaged.

Islamist attacks on Jewish institutions will be condemned; and some efforts will be made to protect Jews; but the President, a former community organizer, will seek moral equivalence and urge dialogue to prevent future "altercations."

US Playing into Iranian Hands

As China Confidential predicted, Iran is going to engage in drawn-out diplomatic talks with the United States in order to buy time to make major advances in the development of nuclear weapons and ballistic missiles (with North Korean help). Click here for a report on the Iranian president's welcoming of dialogue with the U.S.

And connect the dots by clicking here for a report on Iran's charging a U.S. journalist with espionage. Like North Korea, which is holding two Americans hostage--and threatening them with 10 years at hard labor--to deter the U.S. from taking meaningful action against Pyongyang for its illegal missile test, Iran is taking a hostage to bolster its bargaining position with a weakened U.S. administration clearly committed to a policy of appeasement.

Report: China, Russia Attacked US Energy Grid

America's adversaries--rising China and resurgent China--have committed an act of unprecedented aggression, according to the Wall Street Journal. Click here for the report on the electronic penetration of America's electrical grid and planting of computer programs designed to disrupt it in times of war.

Incredibly, while the Obama administration paints visions of a new, smart energy grid connecting more efficient buildings with windmills and solar installations, the United States has been outsmarted by foreign cyberspies.

The assault on the grid should focus attention on the threat of a sea-launched electromagnetic pulse (EMP) attack--detonation of a nuclear warhead high above the center of the U.S.--in order to wipe out electronics and communication systems and plunge the country into darkness for decades. Not for nothing are Iran and North Korea (China's vassal) collaborating on development of nuclear weapons and ballistic missiles; not for nothing have the partners in nuclear/missile crime successfully test-fired missiles from cargo ships.
