She does probe those wretched MPs and she is one of the best on
BBC News. £92k a year is not bad for a tv presenter and she seems
not to abuse the public purse. These rotten MPs seem to believe
they are above all laws and morallity,that is the issue,not what
they are paid.

One of the Commons Speaker's closest allies was embroiled in an
astonishing bust-up with a well-paid BBC presenter after she
challenged him over the MPs' expenses scandal.

Furious Labour peer Lord Foulkes ridiculed Carrie Gracie's salary
of £92,000-a-year to 'talk this nonsense' during a heated live TV
interview.
He extracted the admission from Ms Gracie after she asked if MPs
who abused their taxpayer-funded allowances should pay the money
