Trigger Happy, Islamist Iranians and Stalinist North Koreans Intolerant of Any American Criticism

Appeasement of imperialist nations fans the flames of aggression.

The Obama administration's begging, bowing, and apologizing only serves to embolden America's worst enemies, Islamist Iran and Stalinist/Kimist North Korea--partners in nuclear/missile crime who openly threaten Washington with nuclear war, in the case of North Korea, and muse about "a world without America and Israel," in Iran's case.

Notice how every sign of weakness--every move toward appeasement of the enemy and abandonment of allies--encourages the rogue states to increase their demands and intensify their threats. Instead of responding to Obama's overtures with reciprocal gestures, the aggressors who plot and plan our civilization's doom seize every opportunity, every real or imagined insult, to show off their menacing, military might.

This week's events underscore the dangerous dynamic. Whereas every sane and fair-minded observer interpreted Obama's meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as further evidence of a U.S. tilt toward Tehran, the monstrous mullahocracy took umbrage with the lip service that Obama and his advisers paid to possible additional sanctions on Iran if it refuses to budge on the nuclear issue. That was the message underlying the regime's successful test of a ballistic missile capable of striking Israel and southern Europe: don't even think about threatening or criticizing the Islamic Republic.

The clueless or complicit White House is making wars with North Korea and Iran inevitable--on their terms.

Reporter: Obama Aim is 'Muslim Summit'

Newsweek correspondent Richard Wolffe says U.S. President Barack Obama wants to call a "Muslim summit."

Fox News reports:

Obama, who will travel to Egypt next month to give a major speech to the Muslim world, told Wolffe he wants to convene a "Muslim summit."

"If I had a Muslim summit, I think that I can speak credibly to them about the fact that I respect their culture," Obama said, "that I understand their religion, that I have lived in a Muslim country, and as a consequence I know it is possible to reconcile Islam with modernity and respect for human rights and a rejection of violence. And I think I can speak with added credibility."

US Deceiving Israel on Nuclear Issue

Reuters reports:

The U.S. administration of President Barack Obama will not force Israel to state publicly whether it has nuclear weapons, an Israeli official said on Thursday.

He said Washington would stick to a decades-old U.S. policy of "don't ask, don't tell".

Obama's bid to curb Iran's nuclear programme through diplomacy has stirred speculation that, as part of a regional disarmament regimen, Israel could be asked to come clean on its own secret capabilities.

But a senior Israeli diplomat, speaking after Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu held his first summit with Obama in Washington this week, said: "This has never happened, nor will it happen with this administration."

That U.S. message had been conveyed, the diplomat said, "on the various levels of our bilateral talks".

The Reuters report is accurate; but it only tells half the story. The other half is that the Obama administration is using surrogates and allies--from the New York Times Op-Ed page to government offices across the Middle East--to raise the issue of Israel's presumed nuclear arsenal in order to pressure the Jewish State and condition public opinion against it. China Confidential analysts confirm that Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Jordan and some European countries will increasingly call attention to Israel's undeclared nuclear status.

The propaganda campaign will effectively help Iran and its Islamist proxies and allies to undermine Israel's case for stopping Iran's menacing nuclear/missile development programs.

Turkey and the Arab nations are playing a tricky and dangerous game in this regard; on the one hand, they are terrified of Iran's emergence as a nuclear power; on the other hand, they are competing with Iran for support in the so-called Arab/Muslim Street. Criticism of Israel--blaming it for all the region's problems--is standard operating procedure, actually encouraged by the Obama administration's obsession with creating a Palestinian state at Israel's expense, engagement of Iran, and outreach to the "Muslim world."

This reporter hopes that Israel's leaders have a clear-eyed view of the forces arrayed against their country. The United States under the present administration no longer regards Israel as a strategic ally; rather, Israel is at best seen as a troublesome friend standing in the way of Washington's plan for a "Grand Bargain" with Islamist Iran--and Islamism, in general.

Is Islamist Iran Plotting a Nuclear Holocaust to Hasten the Advent of the Muslim Messiah?

Iran's nuclear-arming, apocalyptic leaders believe in a messianic ruler--the Mahdi--whose advent they can hasten. He is the 12th and last of the imams recognized by mainstream Shiite Islam. He is also referred to the "Hidden Imam" and the "Lord of the Age."

An eleventh generation descendant of the prophet Muhammad through his daughter Fatima and her husband Ali, the Mahdi, Muhammad al-Muntazar, is said to have disappeared in A.D. 878 into the cave above which the great mosque of Samarra now stands. Shiite faithful believe he is still hiding in the cave and will return in the final days to restore true Islam and spread the faith to the entire world.

All of which explains Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's announcement of his regime's successful missile test on Wednesday.

Ahmadinejad: "The defense minister contacted me and said, . . . 'With divine intervention and the assistance of the Lord of the Age, the Sejil-2 rocket, which has very advanced technology, was launched from Semnan province. It hit the target exactly.' "
