2 people shot at U.S. Holocaust Museum
A security guard and a gunman were shot Wednesday afternoon at the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington. A man with a shotgun entered the musuem shortly before 1 p.m. and opened fire on a security guard near the metal detectors at the facility's entrance. Security guards returned fire, injuring the gunman. The wounded were taken to a hospital. For updates on this story, visit JTA.org.
