Washington, DC 20510Dear Todd:
I thought you might find of considerable interest my friend Ken Timmerman’s revelation concerning the Islamic Republic of Iran’s illegal polling places in the US, including one in your home town of Atlanta. Perhaps this is a matter of concern that the Senator and his colleagues might investigate.
If this of compelling interest, you might have one of your Committee staff contact Timmerman at: 301-946-2918 for further details of this development.
Sincerely,

Kenneth Timmerman, contributing editor at NewsMax.com of the Foundation for Democracy in Iran (FDI) has sent a stunning alert message regarding the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran illegally renting polling places in 35 locations through the US. The intent of the illegal program is to allow Iranian Americans to vote in tomorrow’s Presidential Elections in Iran as a ‘show of support for the regime.’
The Atlanta and Tampa locations are:
Comfort Inn
5793 Roswell Road N.E.
Atlanta, GA 30097
Clarion Hotel
2701 East Fowler Ave.
Tampa, FL 33612
813-971-4710
813-936-7878
Other locations of these Iranian polling places in the US can be found on the FDI’s website at: www.iran.org/.
In the FDI Alert, Timmerman notes:
ACTION: ***IF YOU LIVE NEAR ONE OF THESE POLLING PLACES WE NEED YOU TO: ***
1. Call local law enforcement or the local FBI office and get them to intervene to shut down these illegal polling places
2. Organize with a group of friends to picket these polling places tomorrow during the (s) election.
3. Call local media to get them to cover your actions.
If Iranian diplomats are manning these polls, they are in violation of the US-Iran agreement that restricts them to 25 miles from their residences.
If Iranian-Americans are manning these polls, they could lose their citizenship under Title 8, US code (legal references at www.iran.org)
the regime is hoping to trick people into voting for a green “revolution” - that will be no different from the 8 years of the “reformist” Khatami, or the “moderate” Rafsanjani.
They have said openly that participation in these elections is a show of support for the regime.
