Iranian SS Threatens Mass Murder

http://chinaconfidential.blogspot.com/

The Iranian SS--also known as the Revolutionary Guards Corps--is threatening to massacre demonstrators. Click here for the story.

The dire warning follows Iranian foreign ministry claims that foreign powers are seeking Iran's "disintegration."

So much for President Obama's timid response to the political unrest; so much for his Grand Bargain with clerical fascism.

The mullahocracy must go. Islamism must be defeated in Iran and across the region. The best--maybe the only--hope for regime change may lie with the regular armed forces. There could well be a group of officers--secret secular nationalists--waiting in the wings. They could come to the defense of the people.

Should that happen (God willing), the Obama administration's first impulse, this reporter suspects, would be to urge "respect" for the same mullahs who have, these past 30 years, turned a great nation into a hell on earth. America's shame is that its first Muslim-born President (according to Islamic religious law, which traces religion through the father) does not stand with Muslims and non-Muslims in predominantly Muslim countries who yearn for freedom and secular democracy. Obama, rather, stands with so-called moderate Islamists--for phony Islamist democracy, such as that which Iran has promoted, which limits political activity and freedom of expression within a carefully constructed Islamist frame.

The historic events in Iran are upsetting Obama's outreach---not to secular Muslims and Arab and Iranian nationalists--but to pan-Islamists who seek to change the power relationship between "the Muslim world," which Obama addressed in Egypt, and the West. That is why the Iranian Islamists seek atomic arms; and that is why Obama's attempts to appease and align with them are so potentially catastrophic.

'Today, Everyone is an Iranian'

By Amil Imani

“Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable.” – John F. Kennedy

Today, all Iranian expatriates are united in solidarity with the Iranian people in Iran. Today, we are all standing tall to let the world hear our continuous aspiration for a free and democratic Iran. Today, we pledge ourselves, under the divine inspiration, to stand beside the Iranians in Iran and echo their voices around the globe. Today, we make history, yet again.

It is critical that freedom-loving people, governments and media, rally behind the Iranian people and end the tyrannical mullahcracy that is a scourge on Iran as well as the world. The Iranian people themselves are fully capable and are determined to remove the cancer of Islamism from their country. The United States and Israel and other democracies have a huge stake in the success of the Iranian people to rid themselves of the Islamic oppression and tyranny.

The situation in Iran is dire indeed. Anyone who believes that sane rational people on both sides are engaged in brinkmanship to secure the best advantage, but would eventually work out a compromise, is deluding himself. In some cases, time works as a healer and even as a solution of thorny problems. Yet, this problem will not go away, and time would only make the cataclysmic clash more likely and deadly. The best chance for resolving the impasse is regime change in Iran.

The Struggle Continues

The struggle ... our struggle ... continues. Click here, here, and here for the reports.

The big question: Will the reform movement morph into a revolution?

The really big question: Will the regular armed forces--and renegade members of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps--throw in their lot with the demonstrators?

The Iranian people are fed up with 30 years of Islamist rule.

The United States should support the overthrow of the monstrous mullahocracy. Regime change is the key to Middle East peace.

Moderate Islamism is an oxymoron, contrary to what the pro-appeasement Obama administration would have you believe. Islamism cannot be appeased; it must be defeated ... in Iran and across the region.

Another world is possible, alright, a world cleansed of clerical fascism.
