The Men Who Influenced Iranian Holocaust Denial

Nuclear-arming Iran ... with which the Obama administration is determined to enter into a Grand Bargain for pacification of the Afghanistan and Pakistan ... is ruled by a clerical fascist regime that maintains close ties with Europe's neo-Nazi underworld.

The Islamist nation has become a major center for Holocaust Revisionist ideology, which seeks to deny the magnitude and occurrence of Nazi Germany's genocidal war against the Jewish people.

Two European neo-Nazis--Roger Garaudy and Ahmed Huber--were instrumental in Islamist Iran's ideological development.

Garaudy is a French intellectual--and ex-Communist--who converted from Catholicism to Islam. He established the International Institute for Dialogue of Civilizations and participates in the Muslim Brotherhood project called "Islam and the West," which aims to infiltrate the West in order to draw recruits for the coming Islamist empire.

Garaudy is the author of a 1995, Holocaust-denying book called The Foundation Myths of Israeli Politics, which has influenced Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

Ahmed Huber

The father of Holocaust denial in Iran, Albert Freidrich Ahmed Huber (aka Ahmed Huber), who died last year, was born in 1927. A former journalist who converted to Islam, he was linked by U.S. and European law enforcement and intelligence agencies to Al Qaeda, which he publicly praised after 9/11. He also admitted meeting with Binladen followers.

A Swiss national, Huber was an avid admirer of Hitler.

Huber was active in Europe's radical right elite until the end of his life.

He, too, had left-wing roots. After his involvement with the radical left Algerian rebels against the French in the 1950's, he converted to Islam through the offices of the Muslim Brotherhood.

He initially backed Pan-Arabism, developing a relationship with Egyptian President Gamal Abdel Nasser, who provided safe-haven to former Nazi SS officers in exchange for help on "Jewish affairs."

While in Egypt, Huber met Amin Al Husseini, the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, and Francois Genoud, Hitler's Swiss banker. Huber also befriended Johannes Van Leers, former chief of Nazi propaganda under Hitler.

In Egypt, Huber actively funded an anti-American and Anti-Israel agenda through his leadership of a secret fraternity called Avalon Gemeinschaft. This group united former SS officers with younger radicals, such as Horst Mahler, Jurgen Graf and Ahmad Rami.

When Egyptian President Anwar Sadat made peace with Israel, Huber left Egypt.

He joined Ayatollah Khomeini in Iran after the overthrow of the Shah.

Huber established the Al Taqua Bank with Muslim Brotherhood members Youssef Nada and Ali Gholib Himati. The Bank has since been shut down by authorities for transacting with Al Qaeda and Hamas and financing terrorist acts.

Obama Administration Poised to Praise Moussavi

As China Confidential reported on April 21, the Obama administration is banking on a so-called reformist candidate to win Iran's June 12 Presidential election.

A victory this Friday by Mir Hossein Moussavi, a former prime minister, is likely to strengthen U.S. President Barack Obama's argument for engaging (code for appeasing and seeking to align with) Islamist Iran.

The rival to Iran's Holocaust-denying President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is committed to continuing the country's supposedly peaceful nuclear power program. But Moussavi has offered "guarantees" that Iran's nuclear enrichment effort will not be used to make bombs and warheads.

The hope of the Obama administration and Saudi Arabia is that even if Moussavi crosses the nuclear threshold, he will neither test a nuclear device nor declare Iran a nuclear power.

More in touch with Western sensibilities, Moussavi would also tone down Iran's Holocaust denial propaganda while maintaining support for Hitlerian Hezbollah and Hamas.

In short, Moussavi has the style and the smarts that the Obama administration--and its adoring media--appreciate.

A sickening celebration of "Islamist democracy" looms. It is only a matter of time before the appeasement camp claims that clerical fascist Iran is more democratic than genuinely democratic Israel.

In fact, Iran's political system is a unique, Shiite Muslim creation. The Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, rules; barbaric Islamic law (Sharia) is the law of the land; there are prescribed limits to freedom of expression and freedom to organize for political purposes; and a Council of Guardians decides who can run for office.

If he wins the election, Moussavi will probably make good on his promise to rein in the dreaded Islamist morals police while maintaining the system and pursuing its key strategic objectives: Israel's destruction and regional hegemony.

North Korea Playing With Nuclear Fire

North Korea is playing with nuclear fire.

Protected, or so it seems, by China, aided by Iran, Pyongyang is preparing to test, deploy--and use--nuclear weapons.

Its vow to use the arms as part of a "merciless offensive" against anyone who would "touch the country's dignity and sovereignty even a bit" is not an empty threat. On the contrary; the threat, published as a commentary in a state-run newspaper and disseminated by the official Korean Central News agency, is all too real.

China Confidential analysts believe the Stalinist/Kimist county could attack South Korean targets with nuclear weapons if the United Nations Security Council slaps the North with new sanctions as punishment for recent nuclear and missile tests.

An atomic attack on a South Korean battleship would shock the world while avoiding a direct clash with the United States, which has nearly 30,000 troops stationed in the South.

Sea-Going Suicide Bomb?

South Korea has reportedly doubled the number of naval ships around its disputed maritime border with the North--a patch of sea that has been the site of skirmishes twice in the past ten years.

The North could also go nuclear if any of its ships, suspected of carrying nuclear weapons or materials, are interdicted. Borrowing a page from its Islamist ally's playbook, Pyongyang could turn a ship into a nuclear-armed, sea-going, suicide bomber, detonating, or threatening to detonate, the vessel if it is stopped or boarded. The same scenario could play out with an aircraft carrying a nuclear weapon.

The North could also threaten to strike the U.S. itself with a nuclear-tipped ballistic missile that could be launched from a cargo ship flying a flag of convenience. Thousands of ships approach U.S. coastal waters every day; there is no defense against a ship-launched missile attack against a coastal city.
