The State of Israel is the Jewish State

Project Shofar Banner

The Key to Peace lies in the Israeli Government’s Recognition of the Entire State of Israel as the Jewish State

How strange that the Prime Minister of Israel demands that the PLO recognize that Israel is a Jewish State when he and his government refuse to do so! Any Jewish leader who is prepared to build a PLO state upon Jewish soil, no matter how he chooses to define that state, is, in fact, denying that Israel is the Jewish State! Any Jewish leader who seeks to placate an American President by agreeing to limit the right of Jews to live in any part of our own homeland is himself denying Jewish sovereignty in the State of Israel.
Quite frankly I couldn’t care less what Abu Mazen and his band of cutthroats think. Israel did not come into being in order to please our enemies nor to placate our so called friends. The Jewish State came into being as a demonstration to the entire world that it has a Creator. One would expect that at least the Jewish People should recognize that fact. Yet the entire Israeli government appears to disagree with this fact.
The more that they try to be like all of the other nations the more we are rejected by those nations. Whenever our G-d performs miracles which see us defeating our overwhelming enemies in war, the nations begin to fear us. Rather than stand with these miracles and earn the respect of friend and foe alike, we ourselves reject those miracles and seek to undo do them “for peace”. It is this vain effort which invites the scorn of those who would otherwise respect us, and which pushes peace ever further away.
If Mr. Netanyahu really wanted to be a genuine Jewish leader he would explain to the American president that Israel is the sovereign Jewish State and has no right to limit Jewish growth in any part of our sovereign homeland. He also would have to find a way to redefine Israeli citizenship as belonging only to Jews. Any non Jew who wishes to live here in peace with us is welcome to do so as long as he recognizes our exclusive sovereignty here and respects it. The concept of “palestine” today is an overt denial of Jewish sovereignty and should not find acceptance in Israel. Any Arab who calls himself a “palestinian” is demonstrating his denial of Jewish sovereignty here and must not be tolerated. To continue to accept this concept as legitimate is to be partner to our enemies’ efforts to destroy us! It is absurd and outrageous that our own government cannot see this.
No Jewish leader will succeed unless he thinks and acts like a Jew. No, Mr. Netanyahu, we will never have a “place among the nations”. We are destined to be the example to all of the nations of the world. Our destiny will unfold with or without leaders who seek to fulfill it. Should we have the courage to act with our destiny we can hasten redemption and world peace, avoid needless tragedy and see magnificent miracles that all the world will recognize. If we continue to act in opposition to our destiny it will continue in spite of us, but accompanied by needless tragedy and miracles which we fail to recognize, such as we can already see.
Rather than tell our enemies and “friends” that they must recognize Israel as a Jewish State, it is high time that we set the example and begin to act like one.
Project Shofar is dedicated to spreading these truths wherever it is possible to do so. It is sounding the alarm, to Jew and Gentile alike,to open our eyes to the G‑dly process that is presently underway, and work to support it. We dare not stand idly on the sidelines.
