WHY SHOULD IRISH CYPRUS MALTA ELECTORS VOTE IN ANY UK ELECTIONS?

Irish and Commonwealth citizens are entitled to vote in general, local and European elections, while EU citizens are only allowed to vote in local and European elections and immigrants falling outside of either of these categories and not entitled to vote at all. Further, there is no structural arrangement in the UK whereby immigrant representatives are consulted by government on issues directly affecting them.

I live in Ireland I am a British Citizen and I was not given a vote in the Irish Referendom on Lisbon treaty, also was not allowed to vote on the ref concerning abortion or divorce and all these subjects surely affect everyone not just Irish citizens, perhaps the outcome of the referendum on Lisbon treaty would have been different had all residents been able to vote (tough)
