John starts the program with an extended boralogue explaining what is currently happening with the dollar, and looks toward its ultimate fate.
Then we move to a thread we seem to have opened last week by hearing from young people, who are doing something about problems in the world today. High school junior Amie Anstett explains her efforts to promote awareness of slavery worldwide.
We jump from that to hear about difficulties of being a Christian in Pakistan, especially given the mob murders of a number of them a few weeks ago. Jacob Lee has just returned from that country.
Finally we move to the main subject of today's program, with a history of the papacy's attitude toward global government, starting with Pope Pius IX and moving forward to Pope Benedict XVI. Carl Teichrib from www.forcingchange.org joins us.
