Fran Laufer, author of the book, 'A Vow Fulfilled' is in Israel and at a book signing event where she will tell her story about her time as a 13 year old girl during WWII in Poland after the Germans invaded.
On this show, she describes to Tamar what Jewish life was like in Poland before the war. And then, after the Nazis took over, how it was to lose her entire family as a young girl, and how she survived the Nazi regime just on her wits, a vow her mother made her take -in blood, and of course, divine intervention.
Fran Laufer writes about her post-war life - marrying another Holocaust survivor and then moving to America and improving Jewish life there as well. An inspiring program showing the light she and her husband brought to this world after emerging from an immense and deep darkness.
