The Future Has Arrived!

I am constantly running across articles by Dispensationalists in which the argument is presented that in order to be a "consistent futurist," you cannot contend that prophecies are being fulfilled today. Instead, it is argued that all end time prophecy relates to Israel in the Tribulation and Millennium. Therefore, all we are seeing today is "stage setting," but not the fulfillment of prophecy.

Topic One: Ft. Hood shooter was an active Muslim and the authorities within the federal government knew about it for 6 months. Let me get this straight. While Home-Land Security was worrying about Christians and conservatives being extremists they were ignoring an active Muslim in the military. Topic Two: On the day of the Ft. Hood murders Obama walks out and acts like a classless, inner-city, gangster giving shout outs to people in the audience. What is also with his trying to sound like a gangbanger when he is in front of certain groups of people? Why is this a poor example to America's students? An evil wind is blowing against the State of Israel and the Jewish people. This resolution - written by the Arab League - calls for a investigation of Israel for "war crimes" during the January 2009 Gaza war in which Israel was defending itself from some 12,000-plus rockets, missiles and mortars that had been fired by Hamas at civilian centers in southern Israel over the course of several years. Yet the resolution never even mentions the word "Hamas."
