French Prosecutor Says Pakistan Aids Al Qaeda
The Los Angeles Times reports:The Pakistani government has lost control of rogue military and intelligence officers who aid Al Qaeda and its allies and play a double game with the West, a renowned French judge asserts in an upcoming book.
For three decades, Jean-Louis Bruguiere was an investigative magistrate, a powerful role that combines the duties of prosecutor and judge and allowed him to cultivate high-level contacts from Algiers to Moscow. He stepped down from that post in 2007, and now serves as the European Union's envoy to Washington on issues related to the financing of terrorism.
His 481-page book, "What I Could Not Say," is to be published Monday in France.
An advance copy obtained by The Times bolsters the 66-year-old official's swashbuckling reputation with previously undisclosed witness testimony and intelligence documents from a trove of case files.

Fort Hood Largest Terror Attack Since 9/11
Walid Phares' analysis is must reading:The Fort Hood killings, perpetrated by Major Malik Nadal Hasan, a psychiatric by training, no matter what the judiciary reports will conclude is for now the largest single Terror act in America since 9/11. This quantitative finding will take into consideration dramatic change in the data released by authorities.
The shooting inside a US military installation that led to the killing of many personnel compels us to ponder. Over the past few years and months authorities have stopped attempts on similar attacks. The Fort Dix Jihadi plot, dismantled in 2006, aimed at performing a killing of military personnel inside the base. Other cells, dismantled in Georgia, New York and North Carolina also had plans for attacking military installations on US soil. But more importantly a number of lone wolves have also expressed intentions to attack military personnel.
This year, a person by the name Abdulhakim Mujahid Muhammad, 23, shot two US military at the Army-Navy Career Center in a shopping center in west Little Rock, killing one. In cyberspace Jihadi threats against US military in the homeland and against American cities has been ongoing. Information collected by authorities, including from suspects and indicted individuals has shown a pattern by the Jihadists (militants or propagandists) indicating their intentions to strike at military and security installations.
Such incident in Fort Hood, whatever is the personal motive, falls in the category of demonization of the US and its military. Meaning, whatever were the causes of the individual aggression, the latter was legitimized by the perception that America is the "enemy." Investigation will show quickly if the motives are strictly personal or ideological, or a hybrid set of motives. All depends on the early investigation made available to the public....

Bosnian Islamists Busted for Terrorism
Three Bosnian Islamists were arrested in Sarajevo on Thursday on charges of terrorism and illegal weapons trafficking.
Rijad Rustempasic, Edis Velic and Abdulah Handzic were arrested on charges of terrorism. Rustempasic was also suspected of illegal weapons trafficking, the statement added.
The arrest followed an intense investigation including interviews with “nearly 70 different witnesses and several suspects, and collected over 1000 pieces of evidence from here in Bosnia, as well as from Germany and Austria, and elsewhere," prosecutors said.
All three suspects were previously detained by Bosnian authorities in March last year, but were released after three months in detention for the lack of evidence.
Prosecutors refused to provide specific information, but Bosnian media previously reported the three were linked with terrorist groups in Austria and Germany and were planning to attack European Union peacekeepers and Catholic shrines in Bosnia.
Their specific targets were planned to include soldiers of the EU countries with forces in Iraq and Afghanistan as well as a Franciscan Monastery in Fojnica, central Bosnia.
All three arrested men were reported to be the followers of the strict Saudi-interpretation of Islam, known as Wahhabism.
The twin brother of one of the suspects, Muhamed Rustempasic, has also been detained by Bosnian police and remains under police custody.
Muhamed Rustempasic, who lives in Vienna, had been arrested in September while trying to cross the Bosnian border upon visiting relatives in Sarajevo.

The Muslim mass murderer who, with at least one accomplice, slaughtered his fellow soldiers, was a physician and a psychiatric resident at a nearby hospital.

What the election of the first Muslim (according to Islamic law) President of the United States has wrought: a Muslim U.S. Army major going Muslim on--i.e. slaughtering--his fellow soldiers on U.S. soil, at a readiness base for processing troops bound for Afghanistan and Iraq. The suspected gunman, Major Malik Nadal Hasan, had one or two accomplices.
As of this writing, the U.S. Army says 12 people have been killed and 31 wounded in the attack at the Fort Hood Army base in Texas.
The Army says one shooter has been killed and two others captured, and that all are U.S. soldiers.
Barack Hussein Obama and his adoring, Islamist-sympathizing media are certain to downplay the Muslim terrorist connection.

The attack recalls an attack by another Muslim, a U.S. Army sergeant, who killed two fellow soldiers and wounded 14 others in the first days of the Iraq invasion.
Sergeant Hasan Akbar, of the 101st Airborne Division, threw grenades into officers' tents in the Kuwait desert and opened fire on the survivors on March 23, 2003.
The Wall Street Journal reports:A defense official said that there "were some signs that this might be an Akbar-type event," a reference to a bloody incident in early 2003 when Army Sgt. Hasan Akbar threw grenades into tents occupied by fellow members of the 101st Airborne Division.
Two officers were killed in the 2003 attack in Kuwait, which wounded 14 others. Military prosecutors said that Sgt. Akbar, who was ultimately sentenced to death, was motivated by anger at the deaths of Iraqi civilians at the hands of U.S. troops.
The Bush administration and the media downplayed the religious/ideological angle in that attack.
But Bush kept the country safe from further Muslim terror attacks.
Obama, on the other hand, is tacitly encouraging Muslim terror attacks by appeasing and seeking to align with Islamist Iran and Islamism in general. His outreach to the worst, reactionary scum on earth invites aggression at home and abroad, and raises expectations and hopes among America's enemies that they are on the winning side of a protracted world conflict.
Prediction 1: Obama will again praise and seek to elevate the importance of Islam. He will expand and escalate outreach programs to Muslim leaders and groups in the U.S. and overseas, strengthening the Islamist assault on Europe and secular governments and institutions in the Arab world.
Prediction 2: Fears of Muslim, Mumbai-style swarming attacks ... on U.S. police stations, schools, hospitals, churches and synagogues, housing developments and apartment buildings, hotels, movie theaters, malls, and shopping centers, and other soft targets ... will rise in the coming months.
That the U.S. failed to obliterate Al Qaeda and the Taliban in the immediate aftermath of Sept. 11 is inexcusable. That the U.S. electorate, exhausted from seven years of seemingly endless warfare with the Islamist foe, elected a Muslim (according to Islamic law) appeaser is beyond belief.

The U.S. Army says the Muslim mass shooter acted alone, using only two handguns, which defies reason, was shot several times by a heroic, female first responder, and that the shooter is still alive.
