Obama Administration Lies About Muslim Population
Speaking to the Turkish parliament and on French television, the President himself has described the U.S. (where 80% of the population identifies itself as Christian) as "one of the largest Muslim countries in the world."
He claimed "nearly 7 million" American Muslims in his June 4 address to "the Muslim world" from Cairo University--a speech that effectively elevated Islam to the status of a global superpower. Only minutes after he spoke (with the Muslim Brotherhood in attendance, thanks to a U.S. government request), an administration official referred to 8 million U.S. Muslims in a television interview. Even allowing for observant Muslims' notoriously high birthrates, that is a whopping increase!
Following the Egyptian event, a Pakistani newspaper, the Karachi daily Dawn, published an interview with Obama in which he said “we have 5 million Muslims.”
In fact, nobody knows the real number. A 2007 Pew survey estimated 2.35 million U.S. Muslims, of whom 35 percent were African-American. U.S. Muslim organizations count about 6 million members, a third of them African-American. Brave Sarkozy Seeks Burqa Ban for France
Vive la France!
The French President has the courage to defy radical Islam--click here for the story--and to disagree with Barack Obama, who has, incredibly, interfered quite openly in France's internal affairs. Along with backing Islamist-leaning Turkey's bid for EU membership (even though the United States, as a non-EU member, has no basis for taking a position on the issue), America's Islamist-appeasing, Muslim-born (according to Islamic law) President has backed burqa-wearing.
Sarkozy is defending his country's democratic, secular system and traditions. Obama, in sharp contrast, is presiding over the decline and fall of the world's greatest democracy--and humanity's last, great hope--and aiding the rise of radical Islam across the globe.
Obama's ascent to the White House was a disaster for the United States, Europe, and Israel.
More than two centuries ago, the French were instrumental in aiding the American revolutionaries in their fight against the British Empire. Today, it can be argued, a French leader's example can inspire Americans in their fight against Islamist terror and a national government that aims to appease and align with "the Muslim world."
EXTRA! HEZBOLLAH HEAD ANGRY OVER OBAMA FAILURE
TO CRUSH ISRAELI WILL TO RESIST ISLAMIST ONSLAUGHT
Appeasement invites aggression. Obama's outreach to the worst, reactionary scum on earth has raised Muslim extremist expectations of a second Holocaust, and, as shown by today's speech by a leading Islamonazi, backfired big-time.
In a Beirut speech, the leader of Hitlerian Hezbollah, Sheik Hassan Nasralla, said Obama's promise to engage with (appease) the Muslim world was a "deception."
Nasrallah, who is secretary general of Iran's Lebanese proxy, said he had hoped that the election of a new U.S. president "would mark a major turnaround in favor of the Arab world, but this notion quickly dissipated."
Instead, said Nasrallah, "the result was a complete American commitment to Israel's interests and security."
The turban-topped Islamonazi cited joint U.S.-Israeli military exercises that the Israelis said were to deal with rocket attacks.
"For the first time since the inception of the Zionist entity, the U.S. is prepared to actively participate in any conflict" that Israel "will force on Lebanon, Gaza, Syria or Iran," Nasrallah asserted. "We did not see this during the Bush administration."
Nasrallah also said that the U.S. demand that Israel halt settlement construction was "no more than an American ploy to earn the Arabs' support," and that the U.S. call for the Palestinians to return to the negotiating table with no preconditions had exposed Obama's "deception" sooner than expected.N. Gold Could Hit $2,200 an Ounce
China Confidential analysts expect gold to hit $2,000 an ounce before the end of 2010.
It wouldn't be the first time--adjusted for inflation. In 1980, gold reached $800 per ounce, the all-time highest market value for the precious metal. In today’s market, this would be over $2,200 per ounce.OBSCENE OBAMA DECISION: AL QAEDA 9/11 MASTERMIND TO BE TRIED IN NY CIVILIAN COURT

Perfidy!India Strengthening Disputed Chinese Border
Reuters reports from one of the world's most remote regions:The construction is part of India's quiet military buildup in an eastern Himalayan region that is at the centre of a long festering border dispute with China.
Military bases dot the countryside. At one camp, soldiers clean rows of field guns behind concertina wire fences. Army convoys hurtle along intermittently.
With ties between the two Asian giants strained by a flare-up over their disputed boundary, India is fortifying parts of its northeast, building new roads and bridges, deploying tens of thousands more soldiers and boosting air defences.

There is a Tibet angle, too, as shown by the following excerpt from a Times of India reporton the Dalai Lama's recent visit to Tawang:What this tour, just like his other visits, has proved, is the Dalai Lama's immense popularity across the Himalayas, a fact that may never allow New Delhi to completely distance itself from the Tibetan cause. This despite India's recognition of Tibet as an integral part of China.
People who follow Tibetan Buddhism and support the free-Tibet movement dominate the Himalayas — from Ladakh to Nepal, Darjeeling, Sikkim, Bhutan and Arunachal Pradesh. The Monpas, in an overwhelming majority in Tawang, not only follow Tibetan Buddhism but also have close historic ties to Tibet. Keeping this in view, Beijing describes Tawang as "southern Tibet".
Like elsewhere in the world, the Dalai Lama has been drawing thousands of Buddhists from within and outside India during his tour. Be it Tawang, Bomdi-la or Dirang, people have turned up with their entire families to hear his discourses. "We'll follow him wherever he goes. We'll go to Tibet only if he goes there," said Yeshe Jamyang (77), who had fled Lhasa along with the Dalai Lama in 1959 and later served in a special force of Tibetans raised by India that saw action in the Bangladesh War. The Dalai Lama had spent 10 days at Bomdi-la during his escape from Tibet. Hu Promises Focus on Domestic Demand
