1. CDC Tells Lies Over Swine Flu Stats

I currently help staff an urgent care facility that sees nearly 100 patients per day. We have seen very large numbers of people with complaints that could be due to influenza, yet have documented only about five to ten per week and that only began about the first of October. We have hospitalized no patients and our parent hospital that serves a population of about 150,000 has reported one death due to H1N1 and that was in a child with severe underlying immunological disease. The new CDC estimates seemed so far off from what many of us front-line docs are actually seeing that I had to investigate this further. The CDC has adopted, for the first time in epidemiological methodology, a technique that extrapolates numbers from very limited and dubious samplings. I am very skeptical of the latest estimates from the CDC that has been corrupted by politics and now serves as a propaganda arm of the entrenched bureaucracy. Yet another example of how the government can screw-up most anything it touches.

Latest reports of what is being called a deadly Swine Flu outbreak in Ukraine according to on sight reports appear to be a political concoction by a threatened government to avoid election defeat and possibly declare martial law. The details indicate how convenient the current WHO “Swine Flu” H1N1 “pandemic” scare is for regimes in trouble. Worldwide media reports in recent days have painted a picture of Ukraine as being under the Black Plague or worse. One of the most egregious panic-mongers has been Pittsburgh Swine Flu “mapper” Dr Henry Niman who earlier falsely predicted H5N1 Avian Flu would mutate into a deadly human-to-human pandemic. It didn’t. Niman’s map of the spread of alleged H1N1 Swine Flu since April has given WHO, the US Government and CNN and major media a convenient graphic to create the image of a new type of “bubonic plague” threatening mankind unless we react with massive doses of untested vaccines from such unscrupulous pharma bigs like GlaxoSmithKline or Novartis or Roche with its dangerous Tamiflu drugs. Since Washington financed and organized the 2004 Orange Revolution that brought a pro-NATO Victor Yushchenko in as President, Ukraine politics has been a geopolitical tug-of war between Moscow and Washington. How the current political games around allegations of H1N1 panic play into that tug of war is not yet clear. The degree of fraud, deceit, official coverup and outright criminal endangerment of the broad population by the current Swine Flu hysteria is seemingly without precedent. 3. The Australian Experience - We Do Not Need A Pandemic Response To Swine Flu

Kelly, head of the epidemiology unit at Victoria's Infectious Disease Reference Laboratory: The Victorian, Australia experience suggests that the circulation of pandemic (H1N1) 2009 influenza in the community was at most like influenza circulation in a season of moderate seasonal activity. We know most infections have been mild. Deaths from swine flu have not been as numerous as the modelled deaths from seasonal influenza. We may not have needed a pandemic response to a disease that, although it has a different footprint, has been predominantly of seasonal intensity.

4. Asia - Distrust Over Tamiflu's Adverse Effects Rising
In Japan, a series of teen suicides in 2007 found that they took Tamiflu. Since the sale of the anti-viral drug was permitted in 2001, Japan had been the world’s largest consumer of Tamiflu from 2001 to 2007 with up 70 percent of global consumption. With the number of teenagers who jumped to their deaths from a building or in front of trucks increasing, fear over the adverse effects of the drug has risen. The Japanese Health Ministry conducted another survey in June of 10,000 children under age 18 and banned medical institutions from prescribing Tamiflu for those under 18. In the wake of the suicides, distrust in Tamiflu among the Japanese is rising.

5. US Nurses With Lyme Disease Form Advocacy Group
Sharon Lee and Judy Johnston plan to use their nursing experience and training to assist Rogue Valley residents who may not even know they have Lyme disease. They're organizing a support group to help local people determine whether they're infected, and steer them to physicians who can give them appropriate care. "There's far more Lyme disease than is being recognized," says Johnston, a nurse for more than 30 years. "And we don't have Lyme-literate physicians in this part of the country."

6. UK Social Worker Steals Everything From Elderly Widow Client
An elderly widow who went into respite care returned home to find her house had been emptied by her social worker from Cumbria. The horrified 84-year-old discovered that virtually everything she had amassed during her lifetime – including her late husband’s ashes – had gone. Her social worker, Tony Child, of Houghton, Carlisle, was convicted of three specimen burglary offences.
