Darling's GDP Fibs, Inside the CCHQ War Room

Play the video on Guy News TV

This week the news cycles were obsessed with the Apple iPad and Tony's iRaq.  With all the old faces, Blair, Campbell, Rentoul, Gilligan etc, you could be forgiven for thinking it was 2003 again. Guido spent the week largely ignoring the Iraq Inquiry, leaving the pointless tweeting and live blogging regurgitation of every line of it to the Lobby. I wasn't too impressed with the 0.1% GDP growth number.  Take out the cash for clunkers idea pinched from Obama and the UK would still be in recession.  On the day the 'Great Recession' officially ended Guy News did a breakfast TV special on just how badly Brown and Darling got it all wrong.

Most of the week was a hazy mixture of a drunken evenings having crashed Peter Watt's book launch on Wednesday and the wonderfully camp Jihad! The Musical.

This week's Guy News video is ready to go here.
