VETERAN CONSERVATIVE BOSTON RADIO PERSONALITY CHUCK MORSE AND LIBERAL SAN FRANCISCO RADIO COMMENTATOR PATRICK O'HEFFERNAN OPEN THE MICROPHONES AT WDIS-AM 1170-NORFOLK AND AT WNSH-AM 1570 BEVERLY WITH AFTERNOON SHOW – THE FAIRNESS DOCTRINE, LEFT-RIGHT RADIO FOR THE RADICAL CENTER.

Chuck Morse, one of the most conservative and controversial radio talk show hosts in the Northeast market, will be joined by San Francisco liberal commentator and activist Patrick O' Heffernan for “The Fairness Doctrine” weekdays at WDIS AM 1170, and at WNSH AM 1570. WDIS-Norfolk reaches Boston-Providence and WNSH-Beverly is a 30 thousand watt radio station that reaches all of eastern Massachusetts.

Morse has been named one of the top 100 radio show hosts by Talkers Magazine, the industry’s trade publication, and he promotes conservative causes in a region that he sees as progressively moving in a conservative direction, as evidenced by the election of Scott Brown to fill the US Senate seat of the late Ted Kennedy.

“I am proud to be working with Patrick O' Heffernan as we launch a program that brings together conservative and liberal opinion and guests in respectful but vigorous dialogue. Too often the left and the right only talk to each other and seem to operate in a hermetically sealed cocoon. The Fairness Doctrine is an experiment in breaking through to both sides with thoughtful commentary."

“Our program will focus on political, social and cultural issues in the news, and we are looking forward to inviting prominent regional newsmakers, businessmen, academics, media experts and conservative as well as liberal intellectuals,” Morse said, adding that "expect to see an occasional media celebrity and musician on the show, like the stars from the MTV hit, The Buried Life" who recently came onto The Fairness Doctrine to announce they would do their show in Boston"

“The Fairness Doctrine" will broadcast live Monday through Friday from 3-5 p.m.

Morse was the 2004 Republican nominee for Congress in the Fourth District, which stretches from Brookline to the Rhode Island border. He is the author of a book that is soon to be published by World Net Daily.

“This is a very exciting time for conservatives in Massachusetts and across America,” Morse said.

“The Obama administration follies have already offended many Americans, and Republicans are sharpening their message in preparation for the 2010 mid-term Congressional elections.”

Patrick is a PhD graduate from MIT, an Emmy-winning television producer, and former college professor. He has written several books, including a New York Times business best seller, and an activist in national grass roots Progressive politics.

"America is changing –becoming both more progressive and more conservative., and change is always exciting and always controversial. That is why Chuck and I work together so well."

"The conservative takeover of the Republican party turned off Americans big time in 2008, but gave late night TV comedians some great targets. Now the Democrats need to stop being "conservative lite" and remove their gun barrels from their feet before they become the targets – of voter anger as well as late night TV."

The Fairness Doctrine is broadcast live and streamed live on the internet and available on iTunes and as a podcast. Become a fan on the Fairness Doctrine Facebook page and its Twitter stream.
