Crypto-Islamist Turkish PM Again Slams Israel

Turkey's Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan says losing Turkey's friendship would hurt Israel. Click
here for the story.

He made his remarks in an interview in which he again lashed out at Israel, leading this reporter to wonder: with "friends" like Islamist-leaning Turkey, who needs enemies?

U.S. support for Turkey's crypto-Islamist government by both the Bush and Obama administrations is backfiring. The Turkish military, traditional guardian of the country's secular system, has been prevented from intervening out of fear of antagonizing the United States and the European Union, which has allowed acceleration of Turkey's Islamizing trend--and tilt toward Iran.

The loss of Turkey is a serious blow to both Israel and the U.S.

While the problem predates Obama, as mentioned above, it has been made worse by his engagement (appeasement) policy toward nuclear-arming Iran and outreach to "the Muslim world," which has effectively encouraged Islamists to see themselves--and to be seen--as an ascendant, supranational power on a par with the superpowers.

New Dead Sea Drilling Data May Indicate Presence of Huge, Heavy and Light Oil

Resources in Israel

Good news for energy-challenged Israel.

China Confidential analysts believe that test results from a new oil exploration well that was drilled in Israel north of the Dead Sea are likely to support the theory that the great salt lake--a unique body of water associated with oil since antiquity--sits atop a vast pool of heavy crude oil, which probably covers an even larger reservoir of light, or conventional, crude.

The partners in the Tzuk Tamrur 4 oil well--Zerah Oil And Gas Explorations LP (TASE: ZRAH), Delek Drilling LP (TASE: DEDR.L), and Avner Oil and Gas LP (TASE: AVNR.L)--are expected to announce the test results early this week.

Seized North Korean Arms Were Bound for Iran

Thailand has confirmed in a confidential report that the North Korean arms seized last month by Thai authorities were bound for North Korea's longtime partner in nuclear/missile crime, Iran. Click
here for the story.

Question: Did China know about the arms shipment?

The answer is yes, of course. North Korea is China's vassal. The two countries are as close as lips and teeth. The Stalinist/Kimist/criminal regime in Pyongyang could not exist without Beijing's backing.

But China is the elephant in the room when it comes to nuclear-armed North Korea--and its alliance with nuclear-arming, Islamist Iran. American, European, and Japanese officials are apparently too scared of, or too intimidated by, or too beholden or in debt to (in the case of economically declining America) rising China to raise the issue of North Korea's illicit dealings with Iran, which include, among other things, allowing Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps officers to attend North Korean nuclear tests and joint, North Korean-Iranian development and testing of concealed, cargo-ship-to-shore, ballistic missile launch systems.

Iran Plans to Murder Nine More Protesters

From the Global Post:

Iran hanged two opposition protesters on Thursday and sentenced nine more to death for taking part in widespread rallies against President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad following last June's presidential election.

It is a stark reminder to members of the Iranian political opposition and social activists — for whom exile is not an option due to financial or other constraints — of the risks of voicing dissent in the Islamic Republic.

While the executions prove the extreme measures the state is willing to take to suppress the opposition movement, many of those accused of dissident behavior have experienced retribution by other means. Factory workers, school teachers and university professors have been fired from their jobs as a direct result of expressing dissenting opinions.

Israel Says Slain Terrorist Was Big Arms Smuggler

Israel won't say if it bumped off the Islamist terrorist, a major arms smuggler for Hitlerian Hamas in the Palestinian terror-state called Gaza (which U.S. President Barack Obama wants to expand to include the disputed, liberated lands of the so-called West Bank and East Jerusalem).

Israel will only say that the slain terrorist, who met his end in Dubai, had been sought by Israel for decades.

China Confidential intelligence experts say Israel was almost certainly responsible for the assassination of the terrorist.
