BAT YE’OR: NEW EURO-ARAB JUDEOPHOBIA BEARS THE DESTRUCTION OF THE WEST WITHIN ITSELF
The world's leading scholar and historian on Islamic expansionism in Europe, the Middle East and the West, Bat Ye'or. If an Atlas reader wants to transcribe, I would be enormously grateful. She is an international treasure. Thank G-d for BY. hat tip Vlad Tepes
"Eurabia is not Europe. it is its enemy."
............the transformation of Europe into "Eurabia," a cultural and political appendage of the Arab/Muslim world. Eurabia is fundamentally anti-Christian, anti-Western, anti-American, and antisemitic, while striving for Israel's disappearance and the vilification and isolation of America. The institution responsible for this transformation, and that continues to propagate its ideological message, is the Euro-Arab Dialogue, developed by European and Arab politicians and intellectuals over the past thirty years.
UPDATE: Much thanks to Shoshana for the transcription:
"I was a very rejected and despised and put-aside author, and I am grateful to all those, on this day,(who)help me, believe in what I have said.
Robert has had to fight, it provoked complications for him!
I chose a funny name, Bat Ye-or, which means nothing. I thank very much Robert, to have visited me this day. and I don't regret being a despised and rejected author because it has forced me to give the best of myself.
I will put what my predecessor said, in a very lively and precise way - I will put it in a framework.
I want to say, the current characteristics of Judeao-phobia in Europe are very different from what we know of past times.
If I were to define it, without fear of words, I would call it Euro-Arab Political and Theological Replacement Doctrine of Genocidal Character. Whose purpose is to replace the state of Israel with palestine.
Certainly the European states have never ceased to assure Israel on its safe(?)and recognised borders, 1949 Armistice lines and - if the EC had not supported Arafat and the PLO and legitimised them - since 1974.
The aim of the EU was of course, peace. But peace with Arafat, since Palestinian terrorism had already struck Europe at the end of the 1960's, peace with Arafat meant probably without Israel.
It is Europe that has justified and sanctified the Palestinian cause: that is, the vilification of Israel.
That is, the EU used ORWELLIAN DOUBLESPEAK, reminiscent of the Auschwitz saying "work makes free". In fact, the purpose of the EU/Arab policy, followed later by the European Union, was to de-legitimise Israel and neutralise its self-defence - especially since the last 5 years. And through incitement to hate and defamation.
However, one can observe some improvements after several international conferences on anti-Semitism, and the publicity given, not only in the USA, to the resurgence of anti-Semitism in Europe.
Nontheless, one should be wary of optimism, for anti-Semitism is closely linked to the strategic-political and economic contingencies of Europe's Arab and muslim policies.
So whatever else we do, we wont have an impact on Europe's Arab and muslim policies, because anti-Semitism is linked to the Arab and muslim policies and to the European relationship with the muslim world.
It is also linked to the changed demographic pattern of Europe due to muslim immigration and to the disintegration of Europe's identity.
As we see now, Europe is desperately looking, for instance, to continue funding the Palestinians, whom they have always championed, in spite of their vote for Hamas.
Although there have always been European anti-semites, present Judaeo-phobia is not really a phenomenon of persons of marginal parties.Rather it is a political and cultural strategy that embraces all countries ofthe European Union.

She was one of the most fearless and courageous defenders Western civilization had in these latter days, and the West rewarded her by hounding, persecuting and vilifying her. Such is the state of the society and culture she loved and tried to save from itself. I was surprised and honored when she named me as one of her "comrades in arms...pals...buddies" in an appendix to the English edition of The Force of Reason. Many times in her last months, after she did me the honor of calling me her friend, I spent time with her that I will always hold dear. Her apartment in New York City was a mesmerizing and unique collection of artifacts from her marvelous career and a monument to her erudition and avid interest in human civilization, human achievement. One indelible evening she invited me there -- no, summoned me there, in her inimitable way -- and we spent hours drinking fine wine and discussing the state of the world, and her fascinating and hilarious reminiscences of her encounters with the Ayatollah Khomeini, Archbishop Makarios, Henry Kissinger, Deng Xiaoping, Pope Benedict XVI, and so many others. She was weak and ill, but her mind -- and her observations -- were as sharp as ever. During the evening a prominent conservative writer who is soft on the Islamic jihad in the way many mainstream conservatives are (following the wishful-thinking Religion of Peace That Has Been Hijacked By A Tiny Minority Of Extremists line) telephoned. Oriana took the call, spoke with him for awhile, and then hung up, turned to me, and said: "I don't like him! He is stupid!" She always told the truth, no matter how unpopular, no matter how politically incorrect. And as she began to slip away, I often thought to myself, What can I do for Oriana? Of course, the only answer was to do exactly what I am doing here at this site, and in my books, and in traveling around the country speaking, trying to alert people to the reality and magnitude of the global jihad. I invite you, then, on this day of sadness and loss, to pay tribute to Oriana. There is no way we can make up for what we have lost in her. But the best way we can pay tribute to Oriana is by becoming Oriana. Let there be a hundred new Orianas today, a thousand new passionate and articulate and absolutely unbowed defenders of Western culture and civilization, with a fine contempt for all the many weapons of physical and psychological intimidation that the jihadists and their non-Muslim allies and tools in the Western media and government establishments use to try to silence and discredit us. Buy her books. Give them to your friends and coworkers. Explain to them why she said -- as is quoted in the obituary linked above -- that "Europe becomes more and more a province of Islam, a colony of Islam." Explain to them why that matters for so much that they hold dear. Enlist them also in the anti-jihad resistance. And fight the jihad and Islamic supremacism the way she did, with the fire and light of truth, with an untiring defense for the rights and dignity of the human individual, with good humor, with immense joy in living, and with a love for the elements of the good life that the jihadis are determined to efface: art, music, love. And when we prevail, we will be able to memorialize her fittingly, as a light that shone in our darkest days. I will never forget her. How could I? I even have a phone message from her that I keep saving so that it doesn't disappear -- just so that I can hear her voice. Ciao, Oriana. I love you. May her memory be eternal.Oriana Fallaci has died
This new Judeao-phobia is not aimed at individual Jews, at the populations that since the Shoah have become marginal and insignificant on demographic and political levels.
It is expressed through an implacable and distainful hate for the state of Israel. For what it represents and stands for, and by the glorification of Palestinism, which is an ideology for the elimination of Jews as in former days of Nazis.
This position of the European Union is anonymous, cynical, secretive and deceitful.
In other words, one does not express institutional racism, one celebrates Palestinism and its jihadist ideology.
There is no piont wasting one's money and one's energy trying to prove Israel's right to exist in the 21st Century, or to imagine that this policy stems from ignorance; for it is a coldly calculated programme.
You have anti-Israel strategy initiated in the 1970's (that)will not change; it will continue. It is too late to change. It will continue to its conclusion: the destruction of Europe.
For there, finally, is the paradox and the pitfall: this new Judeao-phobia is in fact inseparable from Europe's long-term policy of fusion with the Arab world. Which includes the mass immigration from muslim countries, with demographic, sociological, political and religious changes that come with it.
Such changes are not the result of chance, but this is a planned and intended strategy, whose unfolding can be followed in the texts of the numerous Euro/Arabconferences.
I have called this transformation of Europe: Eurabia.
Eurabia is not Europe. It is its enemy. It does not represent the majority of Europeans nor all its politicians.
When I speak of Eurabia, I refer to an ideology, like one would speak of communism or socialism; it isn't an ideology which is supported by the main European politicians.
It is a strategy. a policy and a culture, whose nerve-centre and way of working are exemplified by the Anna Lind Foundation in Alexandria, linked to the Swedish consulate.
Although this policy can be traced back to the 19th century in France, it was renewed by Charles de Gaulle in the 1960's on the European side, the French side and by, on the Arab side, the Haj amin Al Husseini, former Mufti of Jerusalem, whom de Gaulle saved from the Nuremburg Trials."end
