Deputy Secretary Steinberg Participation in the U.S.-Israel Strategic Dialogue

Deputy Secretary James Steinberg will travel to Israel from February 23-25, leading an inter-agency delegation including Under Secretary of Defense Michèle Flournoy, Principal Deputy Director of National Intelligence David C. Gompert, and representatives from the National Security Council and the Department of State.
Deputy Secretary Steinberg’s participation in the U.S.-Israel Strategic Dialogue demonstrates the United States’ continued commitment to Israeli security, including working toward a comprehensive peace in the Middle East. The Strategic Dialogue is an ongoing process that the United States values as a meaningful tool to discuss a wide range of issues that concern both of our countries.
