  • You keep your gun at home in Switzerland, but no munition. Munition is strictly forbidden. You even make yourself legally punishable if you are carrying a hammer with you on open street, without a suitable task for this hammer to carry out!
Still, I think it’s good to have guns in every household. But there are more and more tendencies to bring in laws, that mandate every holder of statesguns to store them in central stateowned facilities. We Swiss people are as much vulnerable to get messed around as any other people.

  • @ Solipist

Thanx for the clarification. Swiss still have the best governance IMO your representatives democracy works from the bottom up. I mean who the hell even knows the name of the Swiss Prime minister? lol Every country should be the same—people power

  • Two weeks ago I sent a letter to Mr. Blocher (swiss poltician who wants to bring in a initiative to make our 7 Bundesräte = federal ministers electable by the citicens. Till now, they get elected by the parliament. ) I told him, that his initiative was a bad idea and would only end up with electoral contest hassle every couple of years. We should instead start listing up all citicens, who have been at least 2 years in local or district-governments and select the 7 FM by lotterie. That would be real bottom-up post-rigging representation. He didn’t answer me yet, probably never will.

  • @solipsist

Your lottery idea is very good. I’ve pondered that the problem is often not the institution, or the rules, but the low quality slimebags which occupy office.

They’re the ones MOST drawn to get into office! The lottery idea from a large pool of qualified people is great.

  • Sorry Snoot was on e-mail. Basel is near the French/German border with Switz. near the Rhine

  • @solipsist,..The great thing about the Internet, is being able to get info’ from the horses mouth (English expression, meaning straight from the source)
    Thanks!

  • Bow down to King Maximillian XXI
    Bow down
    For he did foretell all
    He did foretell all
    He did tell us so
For sure did he tell us so
    And we know so
For sure do we know so

  • Wouldn’t their leverage be 338 times and not 33,000 times? 1% would be a penny leverage per dollar in assets. 100% would be a dollar leverage per dollar in assets. etc.

  • I didn’t know, that at the BIZ they issue their own passports. Drove by there several times, it’s located somewhat in the middle of the town. There don’t seem to be guardians posted outside at least. Next time, I will try out to walk in there.
The BIZ in the swiss polulation is hardly known and rarely mentioned.
The Swiss National Bank (SNB), our central bank is organized as a joint-stock corporation and 2/3 of the stocks (100.000 shares , nominal value SFR 250.- each!!! That’s all!!!!) are owned by the 24 swiss districts (Basel being one of them). 1/3 is “privatly” owned and owners are supposed to be swiss residients. The actual CEO Philipe Hildebrand is told to have been a buddy with Geithner during his USA-Years. The SNB CEO’s are traditionally percepted as the “economic wise” of Swiss Nation. Still I think, it’s a FED’s or BOE’s shop.

  • @GGEES
The difference between Israel and Switzerland?
Name one country that wants to wipe Switzerland off the face of the planet? Maybe the reason is that the Swiss for many generations have been fully trained and armed.

  • The difference between Switzerland an Israel:

Swiss people are deep in their heart peasants:

I’s say jews are more in the banker business!

  • @ solipist

I think you will enjoy reading this. Its the agreement between the Swiss federation and the BIS. You will see that it operates as a sovereign, pays no taxes and is immune to Swiss law

  • solipsist:
    I’m J + ewish.

I don’t like that statement about banks and J + ews. And Basel is the dark heart of Europe.

  • The currency ponzi originates within the glove and the boot. Fasces symbols both.

  • The Swiss and the Israelis are people who are tied within a region dominated by banks seeing their succour in Basel. One might say the eye is there too. But I wonder.

  • @Frances Snoot!
    You go girlfriend…

  • Good show, although I still haven’t quite got over my gut dislike of McWilliams. Here in Ireland we have a whole media industry that makes its money from the glorification of organised crime (Sunday World and in particular Paul Williams), for years they have made a vast sums feeding/reporting on crime without really tackling the underlying issues behind crime in Ireland. I’m not suggesting McWillaims falls into the same category, but I can’t help thinking how advantageous this crisis is to his wallet.
When you first asked for questions, someone commented that McWilliams really contributed to the debate, well for me anyway the time for debating is long fucking over circa ‘07, he hasn’t told me anything I didn’t know already (not his fault I suppose). Also the newspaper he writes for were cheerleaders for the ‘tiger’, and if I’m not mistaken many of the papers top people are up to their eyeballs in property development.
In a nutshell I won’t be buying the Independent, and I won’t be buying his books, ta anyway.

  • @Frances,.I’ll say again,….phew!,..get wif the picture girl,…ref: Peasants,..
    2004,..huh,..
fk,.I’m getting tired chasin’ you around : )

  • @Davey Jones, I’ll think you’ll find that with the exception of Cronwell’s invasion the greater part of Irelands woes were carried out by Irish people on Irish people, the men who stove in the thatched roofs on the tenant farmers land and drove them to eat grass were Irish. This myth that some how England is to blame for our ‘Troubles’ has been perpetrated by the Holy Roman Germanic Empire, it’s very useful for rallying the proles. What we have had in Ireland for over a thousand years has been a battle royal between the Holy Roman Germanic Empire, and the aristocracy of the British Isles (who are Irish, Duke of Wellington, Edmund Burke, Erskine Childers to name a few). And it continues today, the Church who own the main political party Fianna Fail, and the aristocracy who control the civil service, and poor oul Paddy and Mary taking it like they always have, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end, amen.

  • This may give more clarity on the BIS
According to the late Professor Carroll Quigley of Georgetown University, the BIS serves a more hidden purpose.

Professor Quigley states his book “Tragedy and Hope: A History of The World in Our Time,” “The powers of financial capitalism had another far reaching aim, nothing less than to create a world system of financial control in private hands able to dominate the political system of each country and the economy of the world as a whole. This system was to be controlled in a feudalist fashion by the central banks of the world acting in concert, by secret agreements, arrived at in frequent private meetings and conferences. The apex of the system was the Bank for International Settlements in Basle, Switzerland, a private bank owned and controlled by the worlds’ central banks which were themselves private corporations. The growth of financial capitalism made possible a centralization of world economic control and use of this power for the direct benefit of financiers and the indirect injury of all other economic groups.” (“Tradegy and Hope: A History of the World in Our Time” (pg. 324)

  • One can safely say that they are approaching completion of their goal

  • @Dedo:
It’s flat round here. I’d get tired of chasing up and down those mountains after goats! And getting paid to wear those stupid peasant outfits as well!

  • @ Mep
    re: your CPU usage

    If you’re using Windows:
    - open the Task Manager (Ctrl+Alt+Del –> start TM)
    - “Show processes from all users” (may have to accept User Account Control if Vista)
    - Sort list by CPU usage (may have to click CPU twice)
    - Work out which process is unnecessarily hogging
    - You have the opportunity to close it or research what it is via Google
    - If you’re using Vista and it’s like my own system a likely culprit will be one instance of SVCHOST.exe. It’s safe to end this process. You will have to do this once sometime after every reboot. (Some weirdo vista fault)

  • Dedo and Francis – So funny! But where are the cows?

  • @ Solipsist
i need to give you a geography lesson. Israelis live in Israel. The Jewish people live not only in Israel, but mostly throughout the world. Many of them have not even traveled to Israel. So in reference to Israel, it is the Israelis. So don’t be so Mashugana!http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=mashugana

  • Great show.

    Many thanks.

  • @david, I find your comment interesting, but I’m skeptical. The English planters were sent to subject and rule the Irish on behalf of the English monarch. Maybe there were Irish agents of oppression, but the origin of that force does appear to come from England. What is this about the Holy Roman Germanic Empire? Doesn’t that harken back to Charlemagne and an earlier period?

  • @Ingrid:
The urbandictionary said this about mashugana:
    Jewish/Amish origin.

    Jewish and Amish???

  • @Frances
The Urban Dictionary is a site that anyone can have an input. Sometimes it’s funny, sometimes not! Oivay!
