NIGEL FARAGE BLAST AT QUIET ASSASSIN

Monday, 29th March 2010

Plans by France and Germany to install Herman van Rompuy as the head of an EU economic government have been met with: "Don't say I didn't warn you!"

"When I accused van Rompuy of being the 'Quiet Assassin' I was spot on,"
said Farage. "And although people reacted with feigned outrage, it is certainly turning out true that the scheme being hatched by Germany and France, in league with van Rompuy, will mean the end of British democracy.

"When the day comes to pass that the democratically elected government in
Westminster is subject to a veto by the EU over the way it spends its
taxpayers' money, then the Quiet Assassin has accomplished his mission and
killed off our nation's independence.

"With the revelation that these machinations are underway behind the
scenes, maybe now the EU Parliament won't be so quick to jump down my
throat every time I raise questions about the way the people of Great
Britain are being treated."
