Ahmed Brahim, an Algerian indicted for Al-Qaeda activities, had "routine contacts" with Mr. Ramadan, according to a Spanish judge (Baltasar Garzón) in 1999.
Djamel Beghal, leader of a group accused of planning to attack the American embassy in Paris, stated in his 2001 trial that he had studied with Mr. Ramadan.
Along with nearly all Islamists, Mr. Ramadan has denied that there is "any certain proof" that Bin Laden was behind 9/11.
He publicly refers to the Islamist atrocities of 9/11, Bali, and Madrid as "interventions," minimizing them to the point of near-endorsement.

Intelligence agencies suspect that Mr. Ramadan (along with his brother Hani) coordinated a meeting at the Hôtel Penta in Geneva for Ayman al-Zawahiri, deputy head of Al-Qaeda, and Omar Abdel Rahman, the blind sheikh, now in a Minnesota prison.
Mr. Ramadan's address appears in a register of Al Taqwa Bank, an organization the State Department accuses of supporting Islamist terrorism.
Then there is the intriguing possibility, reported by Olivier Guitta, that Osama bin Laden studied with Tariq's father in Geneva, suggesting that the futureterrorist and the future scholar might have known each other.

In November 2001, Swiss investigators will search the home of Youssef Nada, the leader of Al Taqwa Bank, a Swiss bank that had just been shut down by the US and the UN for alleged ties to al-Qaeda, Hamas, and other radical militant groups (see November 7, 2001). Nada and other Al Taqwa directors are prominent members of the Muslim Brotherhood.
Ramadan is the head of that snake now in Geneva, where Hamas was received and where some of the money is funding Jihad. The part which comes from Jews who were killed, robbed and mutilated for their money, gold (even from their teeth) and diamonds during the holocaust, and which Genoud washed and cashed to fund Munich, Vienna, Milan and many other mass murders.

Genoud is also quoted as saying that Hitler and he agreed that for the National Socialist movement to wil and control the world another war would never have to be faught. And that the Third World countries could win.

West, 43, an Oakland resident, met Obama in 2004 at the Democratic National Convention and was one of his finance co-chairs in California last year, when the campaign raised a record $65 million in the state.
A graduate of Harvard University and Stanford Law School, West worked as a Justice Department attorney under President Bill Clinton, a federal prosecutor in San Francisco and an assistant state attorney general before becoming a litigator at San Francisco's Morrison & Foerster in 2001.
While representing companies in civil and criminal cases, he has also served as a lawyer for Mark Klein, the former AT&T technician who testified that the telecommunications company was sharing customers' phone calls and e-mails with federal agents in the Bush administration's electronic surveillance program.
He also took part in the defense of Lindh, the Marin County man who was a 20-year-old Taliban soldier in Afghanistan when he was captured in November 2001. Lindh pleaded guilty in 2002 to serving in the Taliban army and carrying weapons and was sentenced to 20 years in prison.

Accusations of favoritism swirl in deals for institutions seized by government
A company formed by an investor group that includes billionaire George Soros swooped in to purchase a failed California bank in the latest acquisition by the company, despite controversy surrounding some of its previous bank takeovers.
OneWest Bank entered into a purchase and assumption agreement with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, or FDIC, for the acquisition of all of the deposits and certain assets of La Jolla Bank.
The acquisition is the latest in a string of failed bank purchases for the California-based OneWest, a federal savings bank formed by an investor group that includes billionaire George Soros and Dell Inc. founder Michael Dell.
According to a press release, under the terms of the transaction OneWest acquired $3.6 billion in assets, including $3.3 billion in loans, and $2.8 billion in deposits of La Jolla, as of Dec. 31, 2009. The FDIC and OneWest have entered into a loss-sharing agreement covering a majority of the acquired loans.
Last March OneWest completed the purchase for $13.9 billion of the failed lender IndyMac Federal Bank, described as one of the largest casualties of the housing crisis. IndyMac had been seized by the government prior to OneWest's purchase.
OneWest also reportedly acquired and will continue to operate Financial Freedom, one of the nation's largest reverse mortgage businesses, as part of that deal.
Another bank which recently entered a deal with OneWest is First Federal Bank of California, which had been closed by the FDIC. All deposits were transferred to OneWest, with California locations reopening as branches of OneWest Bank.
Investment News quoted insiders as saying the true draw for the kinds of purchases by OneWest are the properties and real estate debt the banks hold.

(IsraelNN.com) Turkey faces a deep crisis following the arrests by the Erdogan administration of top army commanderswho allegedly plotted to bomb mosques and overthrow the increasingly Islamic-oriented government. More than 200 people, including military officers, lawyers and politicians, have been arrested on charges of trying to promote chaos in the country and stage a crisis with Greece.
Turkey, a member of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), is “poised on the brink of disaster,” the Times of London stated Monday morning. Financial markets have fallen sharply and fears and rumors are sweeping the country. The powerful military has ousted four governments since 1950.
The army never has been comfortable with Prime Minister Tayyip Edogran’s Justice and Development Party (AK) party since it came into power in 2003. Army officers, along with academics and many Turkish intellectuals, fear a growing fundamental Islamic influence that threatens free expression and the power of the military.
The army in Turkey traditionally has been a representative of secular democracy but has been beyond government control. The latest arrests represent a tear in the fabric of Turkish society
"The authority of the army has never before been challenged in this way in this country,” according to leading Turkish columnist and author Cengiz Aktar.
The Erdogan government three years ago defeated an attempt by the army to intervene in presidential elections through court appeals, and it fears another legal bid to ban the anti-secular AK party.
Primary-care doctors who refer patients to specialists will face financial penalties under the plan. Doctors will see 5% of their Medicare pay cut when their "aggregated" use of resources is "at or above the 90th percentile of national utilization," according to the chairman's mark of Section 3003 of the bill. Doctors will feel financial pressure to limit referrals to costly specialists like surgeons, since these penalties will put the referring physician on the hook for the cost of the referral and perhaps any resulting procedures.
There will be an immediate and obvious consequence.
Sick patients will be denied the care of specialists. It's clear that financially penalizing primary care physicians is an obvious attempt to dissuade them from referring you or your family to the specialist they otherwise conclude you need. Consider the insidious nature of this arbitrary 90th percentile rule: every year, 10% of primary care physicians will be penalized no matter how prudent their referrals were and now matter how many fewer referrals there are this year compared to last. It's irrelevant to the government how badly you need the care of a specialist; only how many of your fellow patients your doctor determined were in need of specialty care. And each subsequent year will be worse than the prior as 100% of primary care physicians will try to avoid being penalized, unmistakably setting the standard of medical care ever lower.
There is another delayed and less obvious consequence.
The sickest patients will be denied the care of all physicians. The most effective method for a primary care physician to stay below the 90th percentile in referrals to specialists would be to simply not accept patients into their practice who are likely to need the care of specialists, if they choose to accept Medicare at all. Thus begins the uncoupling of health care insurance -- in this case, Medicare -- from actual health care. What good is your mother's Medicare card if her doctor won't accept it? Already, 42% of doctors simply won't accept Medicare. ObamaCare will drive that number still higher.
I am reading a riveting book from a friend, colleague and great American warrior, Jack Lynch. Lynch is a war hero and I am in awe of his bravery and clarity.
One thing we lack in this war is warriors at the senior level. At the very top, our governments are full of quislings, cowards, appeasers, and collaborators. The enemy has been fighting against us for decades before our authorities even noticed. But while our government, law enforcement, and military establishments are rotten at the top, on the ground they're still healthy. The courageous men and women who actually confront the enemy, whether on the battlefields in Iraq and Afghanistan or on the stealth jihad battlegrounds here at home, are vigorous, fearless, and patriotic. One of the most courageous is U.S. Marine Master Sergeant Jack Lynch, author of The Majestic Twelve: The True Story of the Most Feared Combat Escort Unit in Baghdad. Over the last few days I've turned from the dreary news of Obama's appeasement and effective surrender to the jihad at home and abroad to this book, and found comfort in it. There are still Americans. There are still patriots. There are still people who are willing to risk everything for the unalienable rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Jack Lynch is one of them, as is his Majestic Twelve, a unit that under Lynch's command in 2004 actively took the fight to the enemy, rather than sitting back passively and waiting to respond to what the enemy was doing. They didn't have adequate equipment. They didn't even have adequate armor. Lynch and his crew actually paid for their equipment out of their own pockets -- think about that this April when you send in your tax form. But they prevailed. The Majestic Twelve is a wonderful testimony to the power of the American spirit. When I read this book, I knew we would win. When you read it, you'll know what I mean.
The adventures of Master Sergeant Lynch and his unit are so dramatic, the book reads like a movie script, but what stuck with me most after reading the book was that he was not just a man willing to put his life on the line for his fellow American troops, but that he was an example of the kind of informed citizen we need to win this war. He even stood up for our nation and our values against fellow military men who had drunk the PC Kool-Aid. Once he encounters what he calls a "social worker in a uniform," the British Colonel Percy Woolworth Smythington IV, who scolds him for fighting back against the enemy, telling Lynch: "You are, in fact, creating more terrorists and costing the lives of Coalition soldiers."
"Smythington," Lynch explains, "was obviously of the 'blame America' school of thought. If we only showed more understanding, we would win the hearts and minds of Islam. This school of thought stumbled to explain how we provoked September 11, but was, nevertheless, certain that somehow American policies were to blame. It never dawned on them that we were at war with an enemy who wanted to kill us just because we did not see the world as he did. It was a school of thought that could not explain why Daniel Pearl had been decapitated or why Russian schoolchildren would be murdered. But somehow, if we just did not point our rifles at Iraqi vehicles closing on the convoy, terrorism in Iraq would die."
Lynch and his unit were more realistic, and that's why they were more successful. He understood not only why the Iraqis were fighting us, but made a serious appraisal of their strengths and weaknesses, one that significantly differs from the media picture of a skilled and well-trained fighting force. "They were lethal in the way that a homicidal maniac wielding a shotgun in the mall is; they could kill lots of people and grab headlines, but beyond that, what were they achieving?" Lynch knew what they could do and what they couldn't, and along with his knowledge of why they were fighting us, this made him able to meet their threat most effectively.
Washington should take note. This book is an adventure story, but much more than an adventure story. This book shows what can be accomplished when our policies actually match reality, instead of being built on sand castles like the Islam is a Religion of Peace mantra.

These lectures are from Harold's personal archives - dating back 35 years ago.
Covering 'World History' from pre sands Egypt to current times and 'Esoteric Understandings'. Most of the young are the children of migrants. The British nation and its way of life are in serious danger of disappearing within one lifetime, certainly within two.

That is the conclusion of a new pamphlet J’Accuse…! by Ashley Mote MEP, vice-president of the Alliance of Independent Democrats in Europe. 'J’Accuse!' accuses the European Union and the British government of the “deliberate destruction of British identity”.
The pamphlet points the finger at uncontrolled immigration, the failure of the British to produce enough children to sustain their own future, the utterly inadequate education of tens of thousands of young people, and the exploitation of so-called ‘terrorism’ to impose a regime of oppression.
Together these factors have eroded fundamental British values. Britain is becoming a third-world country – a western version of a banana republic.
“Much of this change has been imported. It is our fault. We have allowed it to happen and we are now allowing other ideas and ways of life to replace our own.”
'J’Accuse!' goes on…“The whole point about the British way of life is our absolute right to enjoy our country and freedoms in peace. They are not the product of the law. Instead, the law and our government are there to protect that right and those freedoms – not destroy them.
“Yet it is our own government that is today the greatest single source of terrorism. Theirs is the terrorism of state control.”
The number of criminal offences on the statute book has doubled since 1997 – one more for every day Labour has been in power. Britain has become a self-imposed police state.
'J’Accuse!' concludes : “Our British way of life is at terrible risk. We British need to go back to our roots, and re-install our own standards.”

Journalist turned businessman turned author. Now a regular columnist, broadcaster and political campaigner. Special interest in British constitutional history.
In 1972 he started his own international marketing business, helping major industrial companies to increase their export business. At one time the company had offices in Houston and Atlanta, USA, Geneva and London. The Tory government's foolhardy attempt to shadow the Exchange Rate Mechanism (ERM) in the late 1980s and early 1990s ultimately forced interest rates to 15% and destroyed Ashley Mote's business, along with over 100,000 others.
Having had such bitter first-hand experience of the damage the ERM could do, he started researching the European Union. This led to his book Vigilance - A Defence of British Liberty. Vigilance is one of the fastest-selling books about the EU ever published. His second political book, OverCrowded Britain is about the UK's immigration crisis, and was published in 2003.
In 2000, Ashley drafted a Petition to Her Majesty under Article 61 of Magna Carta, which was later signed by 28 peers and taken to Buckingham Palace by the Duke of Rutland and others. The petition asked Her Majesty not to grant the Royal Assent to the Bill to ratify the EU's Treaty of Nice - an appeal which reports suggest came close to success.
A founder member of the SANITY group (Subjects Against the Nice Treaty), Ashley worked closely with Trevor Colman to produce three videos about the EU. The launch of Shockwaves resulted in sales of over 1000 a day. Since then he has written and directed two others - Better Off Out and Who Governs Britain?
Briefly active in the Liberal Party of Joe Grimond and Jeremy Thorpe, Ashley left when the party was taken over by left-wingers. He joined the UK Independence Party just before the 2001 general election as the only political home for people wanting Britain to leave the EU altogether. At the 2004 European parliamentary elections he won the second seat for UKIP in the south-east of England.
He now sits as the UK's only independent member of the European Parliament, free to fight for the early withdrawal of the UK from the European Union and the restoration of government of the British by the British for the British.
Married with two adult children. Ashley Mote is the author of several other books, including The Glory Days of Cricket, which won the Cricket Society Literary Award in 1997.
He is a member of the Hambledon Club and a Freeman of the City of London. His other interests include music, the theatre, good company and rugby.

Born in Big Lake, Texas, he holds a BS degree in Industrial Engineering from Texas A & M University. While active in engineering, he was a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Texas, and a National Certified Manufacturing Engineer. After graduation, he accepted a commission as a 2nd Lieutenant (later promoted to 1st Lt.) in the Army Security Agency (ASA), a branch of the National Security Agency (NSA), which is a big brother to the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA). Military training was in the field of cryptoanalysis (the breaking of codes), and served as a Company Commander with an Intelligence Unit on the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) in the Chorwan valley of South Korea, from 1956 to 1957 (after the fighting had ceased).
Upon leaving active duty, began his professional career in the petroleum industry. Served as an Industrial Engineer for ten years until being promoted into management, and was a manufacturing Plant Manager for over ten years.The past seventeen years he served as an International Management Consultant, working in the US, Japan, Mexico, Canada, England, and Iran.
After completing the manuscript to the first book, Who's Who of the Elite, he contacted a number of publishers to ascertain their interest in this material. They all declined because of the subject matter, so he formed his own publishing company, RIE, and published this first of fourteen books in progress. He is Britain’s most successful documentary film-maker. He is the only British director making feature-length documentaries for cinema audiences and the only British director to have late show slots every weekend at cinemas in Los Angeles, New York, Paris and Rome simultaneously. His is called the ‘Enfant Terrible!’ (which means the terrible child) of British Cinema by Paris Match magazine.
In 2007, he made no less than 4 x 2 hour feature-length documentaries, which were all subsequently released on DVD, each with 2 hour bonus discs. That means in 2007 he almost single-handedly matched the entire cinema output of the combined British Film Industry. Since 2004, he has made no less than 7 feature-length documentaries which have all been on independent cinema release and then sold to DVD worldwide.
