OBAMA'S PRIVATE YOUTH ARMY: RECRUITING 8-YEAR-OLDS
First of all, it needs to be said: Obama, get your hands off our kids. Seriously. Stop the fascist recruitment. It's sick.
Obama said he was going to build a civilian army -- and he is using our children. How? He uses the classrooms, as I exclusively broke the story here:Organizing for America recruitment in the classroom.
But AmeriCorps (can Obama pronounce the second syllable?) is the machinery for his youth army. And there is huge dough behind it -- yours and mine.
A year ago, Obama's putsch of hope and change rammed the huge “Generations Invigorating Volunteerism and Education Act” (GIVE act), HR 1388, through the Senate:
He tied his FEMA Scheme for the Civilian Security Defense Force into this legislation, but now they’re called “National Volunteer Reserve Corps.” This creates images of the Peace Corps, but it is something far more sinister. In addition, the legislation is targeting foster kids, disadvantaged teens and more specifically BLACK colleges and universities. Reading the provisions, it smacks of a program tailor-made for ACORN. It is a bill that has reverse discrimination all over it as it is NOT designed for middle-class Americans to benefit from — regardless of your race.
Then in June, AmeriCorps was hit with another scandal, when the AmeriCorps Inspector General (IG) accused a prominent Obama supporter of misusing AmeriCorps grant money. This prominent Obama supporter has to pay back more than $400,000 of that grant money.
In response, Obama abruptly fired the AmeriCorps IG, Gerald Walpin. Obama sent letters to House and Senate leaders informing them that he was firing Walpin, effective 30 days from the date of the letters. (More here on Americorps -- Obama's civilian army, mandatory "volunteerism"):

Service-learning allows students to create an authentic connection between what they learn in their school or organization and what occurs in their community, enhancing critical thinking and teamwork skills.
It allows students to make a personal connection with critical issues, creating significant opportunities for social, emotional, and cognitive learning and development.
As importantly, service-learning also provides a positive impact on the community served through direct and indirect service, or advocacy.
Any student of any age can participate. Both educators in schools in community-based organizations can facilitate a service-learning program.

This is an Americorps funded splinter group-Youth Service America and funded through US fed gov grants. Also funded by Corporate sponsors in addition to the federal grants from Americorps and I am guessing probably some stimulus money working here, too--from what I read of the bill-heavy funding for community service groups
Americorps has definitely applied the ACORN splinter group theory of reality as many of the National partners are a variety of Americorpsgroups.
There have to be hundreds of Americorps groups and hundred more Americorps partners--or stake holders--ACORN would be one.

Biden Says Peace Talks Must Resume (tell it to the jihad)
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told cabinet ministers Wednesday that the timing of the Jerusalem District Planning and Building Committee's announcement of a plan to build 1,600 new housing units in the Jerusalem neighborhood of Ramat Shlomo, which was issued on the same day U.S. Vice President Joe Biden arrived in the region, was "a serious mishap...that should not have happened." Israel apologized for embarrassing Biden with the timing of its announcement, but made clear it has no intention of reversing its plan. (Ha'aretz)

HUGE HUD BOMBSHELL: TAX FRAUD -- HUD STEALS
More HUD bombshells coming, and it seems the contemptuous stench is eerily ACORNish. Steal, cheat, lie, rip off the American taxpayer ...no worries, the Dems have you covered. HUD is Andrew Cuomo's baby -- perhaps New York will be spared from a Cuomo reign after all. Now that would be a blessing. Here from Big Journalism:
Early leak on the project-in-process by ACORN stingmeister James O’Keefe involving the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) offices in Detroit and Chicago:
This time, there are no prostitutes involved, just a shady, and serious, tax-fraud scheme. The ploy involves the Obama administration’s 10 percent tax credit to first-time home buyers. The law says that the credit maxes out at $8,000 for an $80,000 home. But at the Detroit office of the Department of Housing and Urban Development, the rule seems open to interpretation. O’Keefe asks a staffer, What if I bought a place for $50,000, but the seller and I agreed to write down $80,000 as the purchase price?
Realizing that he had a major scoop on his hands, Shachtman then quickly posted an additional story today on the Wired blog:
Late last year, O’Keefe and fellow activist Joe Basel went into the Detroit and Chicago offices of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) with a hidden camera. They pretended to be scam artists, asking employees there to participate in a complex kickback scheme involving federal incentives for first-time home buyers. In the excerpted footage shown to me by O’Keefe, the staffers seemed only to happy to comply.
The law says that the tax credit maxes out at $8,000 for an $80,000 home. On the tape, O’Keefe asked a staffer, “What if I bought a place for $50,000, but the seller and I agreed to write down $80,000 as the purchase price?”
“Flip it any way you want,” the staffer replied.
What if the place is worth much less — like only $6,000?
“Yup, you can do that.”
I wish I could provide more details — like the names of the staffers, or the exact dates of the recordings. But O’Keefe showed me the tapes just once, and quickly. O’Keefe did mention, however, that he was surprised he was able to avoid the federal buildings’ security systems.
A HUD spokesman said he was unaware of the tapes — or of any ongoing investigations into fraud at the department’s Chicago or Detroit offices. “First I’ve heard of it,” said HUD’s Jerry Brown.
