This is a .... sin. An outrage. I am sure all of the nazis and Jew-haters are rubbing their hands in glee. The man is a horror. G-d bless Netanyahu for tolerating the jihadist-in-chief. I am deeply ashamed of my once-great country. Per MSNBC, Obama Will Not Take Any Photos with Bibi or Allow Any Press Chuck Todd just said that Netanyahu is in the U.S. and will be at the Whitehouse, but Obama will not take any photos with him or let any press get any photos of them together. As a proud Jew and passionate Zionist, I have found the EDL to be a responsible, inclusive organisation fighting sharia law and Islamic supremacismin the UK. Just this past weekend, the fascists (ironically named UAF, Unite Against Fascism), took to the streets, attacked police, and instigated violence against the EDL. And that was before the EDL had even shown up. 67 barbarians were arrested -- listen to this BBC radio segment from one of the UAF fascists. What was once a joke is now your noose. America elected this ..... What is most ironic is that slave reparations is racist. Robert Tracinski wrote: Flying a bit under the radar with all the focus on healthcare reform, late last month the President nominated Berkeley law professor Goodwin Liu to the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Ed Whelan over at NRO is a definitive – and far superior – source for opposition research on Liu’s nomination, but suffice it to say that Liu’s views on the malleability of the Constitution, social and racial justice, and the role of the federal government in education, to name just a few issues, place him quite a bit left of center. Also, while Liu is only 39 years old and has very limited experience practicing law, he is viewed by many liberals as a strong candidate for a SCOTUS nomination down the road. So he is attracting a fair amount of attention. With Professor Liu’s Senate hearing scheduled for this Wednesday (3/24), I thought I would look around and see if I could find anything which would shed some further light on his core beliefs which may affect his suitability for a lifetime judicial appointment. Lo and behold I came across a panel Liu participated on in 2008, discussing a PBS documentary entitled “Traces of the Trade: A Story From the Deep North“. I have not seen this film, but apparently it is the saga of a New England woman (the filmmaker) who had discovered that her ancestors were the largest slave-traders in U.S. history. In the clip I have extracted below, Liu is responding to a comment by fellow panelist James. A Joseph, the former Ambassador to South Africa, who had asserted that ”racial reconciliation” will ultimately only be possible if reparations are part of the discussion. Here’s Liu comment in response: Partial Transcript: So what I would do is I think I would draw a distinction between a concept of guilt, which locates accountability in a sort of limited set of wrongdoers, and on the other hand a concept of responsibility. Which I think is a more broad suggestion that all of us – whatever our lineage, whatever our ancestry, whatever our complicity – still have a moral duty to…make things right. And that’s a moral duty that’s incumbent on everybody who inherits this nation regardless of whatever the history is. And I think to add one more point on top of that, the exercise of that responsibility…necessarily requires the answer to the question, “what are we willing to give up to make things right?”. Because it’s going to require us to give up something. Whether it is the seat at Harvard, the seat at Princeton…or is it going to require us to give up our segregated neighborhoods, our segregated schools. Is it going to require us to give up our…money? It’s going to require giving up something. (Original video source is no longer available – full archived copy can be downloaded here.) Go. Read the rest and puke. The Republicans are the pro-Israel, pro-freedom party and the Democrats are the pro-jihad, collectivist party. I say this without rancor and sarcasm: if the Dems are not routed this November, the nation will not recover. G-d bless Mike Pence. Pence: Obama 'bullying' Israel Posted by Pamela Geller on Tuesday, March 23, 2010 at 12:04 PM | Permalink | Comments (1) ShareThis The spring of human prosperity is the establishment of praying for one God and justice in the world, which will be built by the Lord of the Age [the Shi'ite 12th Imam, the Mahdi]....The age is the age of the appearance [of Imam Mahdi]. The mystery of persistence, happiness and the growing awareness of the Iranian na tion is in faith and hope for the rule of the Imam in the world." "The government is determined to assert its presence in managing the world wisely and powerfully in order to restore the Iranian nation's honorable position....All of you should be ready, as tomorrow belongs to us." Presidency of the Islamic Republic of Iran-Persian) And what did the leader of the free world, B. Hussein, say to Iran? That is why, even as we continue to have differences with the Iranian government, we will sustain our commitment to a more hopeful future for the Iranian people. For instance, by increasing opportunities for educational exchanges so that Iranian students can come to our colleges and universities and to our efforts to ensure that Iranians can have access to the software and Internet technology that will enable them to communicate with each other, and with the world without fear of censorship. Finally, let me be clear: we are working with the international community to hold the Iranian government accountable because they refuse to live up to their international obligations. But our offer of comprehensive diplomatic contacts and dialogue stands. Indeed, over the course of the last year, it is the Iranian government that has chosen to isolate itself, and to choose a self-defeating focus on the past over a commitment to build a better future. Last year, I quoted the words of the poet Saadi, who said: "The children of Adam are limbs to each other, having been created of one essence.” I still believe that – I believe it with every fiber of my being. And even as we have differences, the Iranian government continues to have the choice to pursue a better future, and to meet its international responsibilities, while respecting the dignity and fundamental human rights of its own people. Thank you. And Aid-e-Shoma Mobarak. Posted by Pamela Geller on Monday, March 22, 2010 at 07:32 PM in IRAN: The Fourth Reich | Permalink | Comments (10) ShareThis This is what Hillary signed up for? Serving a pimp for Wannsee II? Check out this shocking news reported by the Times Online today: “In a hard-hitting statement after a meeting in Moscow, the UN, the EU, Russia and the US condemned Israel’s “unilateral” construction plans and said the status of Jerusalem could only be resolved through negotiations between both parties.” “The UN secretary general, Ban Ki-moon, said: “The quartet condemns the decision by the government of Israel to advance planning for new housing units in East Jerusalem.” “The quartet expected that talks between Israelis and Palestinians should lead to a negotiated settlement that “within 24 months” ends the occupation of Palestinian territories begun in 1967. The settlement should result “in the emergence of an independent, democratic, and viable Palestinian state living side by side in peace and security with Israel and its other neighbours.” AIPAC is hosting this anti-semitic rhetoric. You can put lipstick on Jewish ethnic cleansing and Islamic anti-semitism, but it's still Hillary: The strong US reaction to Israeli settlement plans is "paying off," US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton says, with Israeli-Palestinian negotiations expected to resume. Mrs. Clinton sounded upbeat a day after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu telephoned her to answer US concerns about settlements in east Jerusalem amid one of the worst rows in decades between the two close allies. (here) 'Paying off'? Towards the complete destruction of Israel and a total genocide of Jews worldwide. (hat tip Kenny Solomon) Jerusalem is not "a settlement." Washington, DC March 22, 2010 UPDATE: Melanie Phillips opines here. Israel Matzav notes, she committed an astounding howler. Referring to the recent Palestinian naming of a square in Ramallah in honour of terrorist Dalal al Mughrabi, she said: When a Hamas-controlled municipality glorifies violence and renames a square after a terrorist who murdered innocent Israelis, it insults the families on both sides who have lost loves ones in this conflict. But Ramallah is not a Hamas-controlled municipality. Hamas controls Gaza. Ramallah is in the West Bank and is controlled by Fatah. Does Clinton not know the difference between Gaza and the West Bank? Of course she does. What this whopper tells us is that she – and the benighted Obama administration that wrote her lamentable speech – cannot and will not acknowledge that Fatah is a terrorist organisation that glorifies a terrorist who murdered not only dozens of Israelis but also the niece of an American Democratic senator. Clinton and the Obamites cannot and will not acknowledge this because their whole Middle East strategy revolves around forcing Israel to give a state to Fatah -- because they ‘deserve’ it as moderate peaceful statesmen-in-waiting. As if. The fact that the Obamites are actually bullying Israel into accepting a Fatah-run terrorist state was unfortunately all-too graphically demonstrated when Fatah named its square after Mughrabi. So Clinton, purporting to attack the glorification of terrorist violence, turned the instigators into Hamas instead. Her message to renounce violence, recognise Israel and abide by previous signed agreements (this from an administration that has torn up America’s own agreements with Israel) was addressed solely to Hamas. To Fatah, whose leaders declare they will never accept a Jewish state, whose armed wing continues to commit acts of terror and who have gone back on countless agreements, not one word of criticism. The rest of Clinton’s speech was as bad if not worse. Most egregious was her equation of Palestinian incitement to hate and murder Jews with Israel’s construction of settlements in the West Bank. Thus murderous aggression by Arabs against Jews is equated with building houses on land to which Israel is historically, morally and lawfully entitled. On planet Clinton, building houses ‘undermines mutual trust’. But why should Israel, the victim of Palestinian aggression, be expected to build Palestinian trust, for heaven’s sake? It is theaggressor who has to build the trust that he has renounced his aggression. Clinton’s moral blindness is simply astounding. Far from the irrelevant settlements, it is Arab incitement to hate and murder Jews and drive them out of their own restored homeland which has been the cause of the conflict for the past eight decades. As Clinton herself said -- without apparently acknowledging the implication of her words – Israel's first Prime Minister David Ben Gurion accepted the compromise solution of two states in the 1930s. What she failed to say is that the Arabs refused it then and ever since and are doing so even now – and yet the Obama administration is silent on this fact, the only fact that matters, and instead bullies Israel over the utterly bogus grievance of the settlements. Thus the Obama administration has put itself on the side of the aggressors in the Middle East conflict and declared itself hostile to their victims – even as it professes a ‘rock-solid’ bond with those victims. This is an administration that quite simply does not acknowledge the difference between right and wrong, victim and aggressor, bullying and justice. It is thus no friend to the Jewish people, and a threat to the peace of the world. Germany, of all places. This is not the first time Germany pulled this -- (IsraelNN.com) Kassel, Germany has banned the Coalition against Anti-Semitism from displaying the blue-and-white Zionist flag because it might upset passers-by and threaten them, the nordhessische.de news service reported. However, city officials previously have approved showing the Iranian flag. A woman identified by the news service as “Dorothee H.” said that officials told her she could not display the Israeli flag at an information booth she wanted to set up. Pro-Israelis previously have been threatened and attacked by anti-Zionist protestors in Germany. “I told him that I could not understand this, and that we were not at all dangerous,” Dorothee H. said, but the city official said the booth could be set up only on condition that no Israeli flags were shown. The unnamed official told her that she had to be “considerate” of others. Dorothee charged that “the employees of the public order told me that all the political information booths will be automatically reported to the national security. This is absurd. You expect the authorities to guarantee freedom of expression, rather than restricting them.” “A supporter of the group's claim added, "If somebody attacked the activists, the state must just intervene protectively."
