In one of the Mufti's weekly radio addresses to the Muslim world (the ummah) from Berlin, where he lived in luxury from 1941 - 1945: (source: The Mufti of Jerusalem chapter 8) “O Arabs, rise and avenge your martyrs. Avenge your honour. Fight for your independence. I, Mufti of Palestine, declare this war as a holy war against the British yoke of injustice, indecency and tyranny. We fear not death, if in death there is life and liberty. The blood of these martyrs was shed for the cause of Islam and for an Arab country. They will remain immortal in the heart and history of the Arabs.” On 19th March, 1943, Haj Amin casts his net more widely in the lengthiest broadcast address since using the axis microphone. The occasion is the birthday of the Prophet Mohammed, a day which could be exploited by anyone built up as a great Moslem religious leader to give his exhortations considerable effect: “May the blessing of God be upon the Great Prophet Mohammed. His birthday brought into the world universal well being and mercy and light and guidance for all peoples. His message showed the way to save mankind from the darkness of oppression and slavery. This day is being celebrated at a time when the enemy is, directly or indirectly, dominating all the Moslem countries from the Atlantic to the Far East, taking advantage of the good nature of the Moslems, occupying their countries and dividing their resources. Moslem patriots are subjected to the tyranny and murderous acts of the enemy who offer honeyed words and promises to mask their true purpose. Moslems should not deceived again. They should exploit this appropriate occasion to save themselves from the claws of their oppressor enemies, the Jews, British and Communists, who harbour blatant and evil hatred for the Arabs….” Then follows this piece of Jew-baiting: “The Jews have a dangerous aim by which they challenge four hundred million Moslems, and that is their express wish to occupy the holy Islamic institutions including the El Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem under the pretext that this Mosque is the Temple of Solomon. This was openly admitted by a number of political religious and official leaders and their recognized institutions.” Haj Amin goes on: “Arabs and Moslems, on this occasion of the birthday of the Prophet, who crushed Jewish ambitions in the past and completely eliminated them form Moslem countries, thereby setting us an example, on such a day Moslems and Arabs should vow before God utterly to crush Jewish ambitions and prove that faith in God is greater than imperialism and far more powerful than the devilry which surrounds international Judaism.” His references to Britain follow the usual pattern, but he has this to say to his listeners in America: “The Arabs and Moslems will not be deceived by Britain, for not only have they long know its true intentions but they have also know those of its Ally- America. I want to draw attention the Arab emigrants in America to this fact, reminding them of their glorious past when they supported the national movement. I would remind them that their efforts will be wasted is, God forbid, America and her allies are victorious in this war. For if that happened, the Arabs would never rise again. I therefore am confident that those Arab emigrants in America will refrain from helping Roosevelt or from taking part in a war which he has brought on his country.” The Muslim world was aligned against America. Their goal has not changed-- but now America and the allies are financing and training the jihadis. He must tell them very plainly the truth of what is happening and the way in which their country is being turned into an ally of evil against justice, aggressor against victim. And beyond America, he must now state in blunt and unmistakeable terms the grotesque reality of what Israel’s ‘friends’ in Britain and Europe, along with America, are now doing: uniquely rewarding those who wish to destroy a sovereign state, and punishing their victims. Read the rest. The EDL organised the rally in Bolton, Lancashire, to protest against 'radical Muslims' and Sharia law. They came to protest the encroaching oppressive sharia law and jihad -- peacefully. So of course the thugs and the sharia nazis had to show and turn it into a violent melee. Thousands of fascist agitators descended upon a city centre protest organized by the patriotic English Defense League (EDL). The UAF -- Unite AgainstFascism -- members got violent (as usual), and two officers were injured following ugly clashes: one fractured a finger, the other was bitten by a police dog. A police helicopter was also dispatched to assist the officers on the ground. There was a total of 67 arrests. Assistant Chief Constable Garry Shewan, who is leading the operation for Greater Manchester Police, said at the time of the protest: “There have been unwarranted attacks on police lines that have resulted in injuries. [by the UAF and Muslims] “This is not a peaceful protest and we are facing a lot of hostility. The number of arrests already made is a clear indication that this is not a peaceful protest and some demonstrators are determined to cause trouble. This is not acceptable.” [by the fascist UAF] At its height, there were some 2,000 EDL and a further 1,500 UAF protesters. The chants are very telling as well: the EDL chanted, “We want our country back," while UAF agitators shouted, “Whose streets? Our streets.” EDL protester Stuart Rogers, 31, from Bolton, draped in the English flag, said he was there “to support England, against the Taliban bombers”, adding: “All my family are in the Army - my dad, and my brother, who has just done 11 months in Afghanistan. Why are our troops out there when they should be at home?” Among those arrested were UAF joint secretary Weymann Bennett, who organised the protest, on suspicion of conspiracy to commit violent disorder, and Martin Smith, who runs the Love Music Hate Racism campaign.(more here) VIOLENT protesters have been condemned by police following 67 arrests out at a demonstration in Bolton town centre. The English Defence League (EDL), an organisation which opposes "radical Muslims" and Sharia law, organised the rally in Victoria Square. A counter-demonstration by Unite Against Fascism (UAF) was also being held, and hundreds of police officers fought to keep the two factions separate, aided by police dogs. Missiles were thrown across the barricades keeping the two sides apart, with the demo growing uglier as the day went on. Some protesters tried to smash down the barriers. And pockets of trouble broke out away from the square. Police said they would be viewing CCTV footage of fighting which took place near the Market Place and Deansgate to bring the troublemakers to book. But anti-fascist demonstrators have been critical of the police. Among those arrested was UAF organiser, Weyman Bennett, on suspicion of conspiracy to commit violent disorder. Anindya Bhattacharyya, UAF press officer, said: "A large group of riot police charged in, there were at least a dozen of them. "They grabbed him and physically dragged him away even though he was protesting peacefully." Police said there were 2,000 EDL protesters in the square, and around 1,500 from UAF. EDL demonstrators were herded away from the area shortly after 3pm and onto waiting trains and buses. But more UAF supporters continued to arrive in the town hall Square, where they claimed a "victory". They started to leave at about 4pm, escorted by police. [...] Assistant Chief Constable Garry Shewan, who led the police operation, said: "From the moment that the English Defence League announced their intention to hold a protest in Bolton, it was made clear to us that the communities of Bolton did not want this to take place. "Greater Manchester Police and Bolton Council facilitated both the EDL right to protest as well as that of the UAF, who requested a counter-demonstration. "We, the council and the communities of Bolton have worked hard over recent weeks in order to facilitate these protests in a safe and responsible manner. "Today in Bolton we have seen some small evidence of this protest in the form of flag waving and vitriolic name calling - but we have also seen groups of people, predominantly associated with the UAF, engaging in violent confrontation. "It is clear to me that a large number have attended today with the sole intention of committing disorder and their actions have been wholly unacceptable. Were it not for the professionalism and bravery of police officers many others would have been seriously injured. I would also like to praise the efforts of the EDL stewards who worked with us in the face of some very ugly confrontations." GMP will now be reviewing CCTV from the day to identify other people involved in inciting or committing disorder. ACC Shewan added: "I am determined to identify offenders by whatever means and bring them to justice." Chief Supt Steve Hartley, Bolton's divisional commander, said: "This has been without doubt one of the most challenging days, not only as divisional commander of Bolton but as a police officer. "We have spent weeks working closely with all communities in Bolton in an attempt to inform them. "I would like to thank the people of Bolton, as well as the local businesses, for their support and patience. PALESTINIAN MUSLIMS INVOKE THE NAZI MUFTI OF JERUSALEM: TELL THE TRUTH!
It is these lies, and the consequent appeasement of the Arabs who promulgate them and the rewarding of Arab aggression, which has caused the Middle East impasse to remain an unending conflict. And it is these lies and the new distortions supplied by Obama which now pose the greatest single danger to Israel’s security and existence by eroding public support – not just in Britain, which is already lost, as is to a lesser extent ‘old’ Europe, but among the people who are the staunchest supporters of Israel: the great mass of middle America.
Disastrously, Israel has gone along with these lies -- for a variety of reasons. First, Israel observes the rules of diplomacy which almost invariably involve compromise. Now compromise is in general a good thing; but in a war of extermination, if the victim compromises with its attackers it strengthens them and makes its defeat more likely. In no other conflict in the history of the planet has a country which is the victim of an eight-decade belligerency aimed at wiping it off the map been expected to make concessions to its attackers. In no other conflict has such a victimised people been bullied by onlookers into doing so. Yet the first pressure is what Britain, America and Europe have been applying for decades, and the second is what Obama is now applying, with the EU falling in behind him: bullying the prospective victim of extermination into submitting to measures which increase the risk of such an eventuality, and in the process almost forcing the Palestinians from their habitual pose of sullen obstructionism and sporadic terrorism into another spate of outright war.
This global trance of intellectual inversion, hallucinatory bigotry and appeasement of terror could be broken instantly if the big lies that sustain it were exposed for the malevolent fictions that they are. Yet remarkably, Israel never stands up and delivers the necessary home truths about the history of the region and the cowardly and vicious behaviour of its ‘friends’.
There are various reasons for this. First, vulnerable as it is, it needs all the allies it can get – particularly America – in order to survive. These ‘friends’, false as they may be, are nevertheless better than enemies; and they provide considerable ballast -- in their own interests, let it never be overlooked -- against Israel’s declared foes. So that’s one very good reason why Israel has bitten its lip and proclaimed deep friendship with these treacherous western nations.
Next, and scarcely less important, is what can only be described as the psychopathology arising from Israel’s beleaguered existence. After eight decades of military siege, Israel suffers from what might be described as a collective ‘Stockholm Syndrome’ – identifying to some extent at least with the mindset of its abusers.
At the same time, Israel believes the moral rightness of its cause is so overwhelmingly obvious it cannot grasp that others don’t see it that way, let alone view its Arab aggressors as the victims of Israel: such an appalling inversion of reality and justice is simply too outrageous for it to take on board.
As for the need to make the case again and again for the Jewish entitlement to the land, Israelis protest – not unreasonably – why they alone should have to justify their existence when no other country, however artificial or contested, such as Pakistan, for example, is expected to do so.
Even more significant is the fact that, as a result of the Holocaust in Europe and the egregious betrayal of the Jews by the British in Palestine (the perfidious capitulation to Arab terrorism which is the true historic cause of the whole enduring Middle East problem) successive Israeli governments have written off Britain and Europe as irredeemably bigoted and thus impervious to any reasoned or moral argument about the situation of the Jewish people. So they won’t make the case.
However understandable any of these reasons may once have been, they have not only had catastrophic consequences but are now superseded by the new reality. Israel assumed that America would remain its staunch friend. It believed that because, first, the vast bulk of the American people supported Israel, and second because it assumed that any US administration would realise that Israel was the bulwark against a hostile Arab world (forgetting how indifferent or even hostile certain US Presidents had been in the past). Now we can see how short-sighted, foolish and arrogant those assumptions were.
